EXTRA SCENE - RAKUZAN'S DEFEAT
CHIHARU AND NISHINOYA WERE CURRENTLY outside the stadium where Rakuzan was playing at. Chiharu was wearing a white hoodie with a denim jean jacket over it, black jeans, and white sneakers. While Nishinoya was wearing a white shirt with a black jacket over it, faded blue jeans, and black sneakers.
"So, is Rakuzan strong?" Nishinoya asked.
"Yeah, they're unbeatable. I would sometimes leave during their games because whoever their facing always loses." Chiharu replied. "They got an insanely strong first-year captain."
"They put a first-year as a captain?" Nishinoya questioned. "What is their coach thinking?"
"Yeah, I thought it was ridiculous too when Hiro told me." Chiharu responded. "He was the former captain of the Generation of Miracles. A group of basketball prodigies."
They walked inside the stadium as Nishinoya followed Chiharu to the locker room where Rakuzan was. He opened the door. "Yo, Hiro." Chiharu greeted, throwing a peace sign as he entered.
"Haru-nii." Chihiro said, getting up from the bench to hug his brother. "You came."
"Of course I did. You're my twin after all." Chiharu stated as he pulled away. "Hiro, everyone, this is Nishinoya Yuu. My boyfriend."
"Oh, you're the famous boyfriend my twin has been contantly talking about." Chihiro said. "It's nice to finally meet you."
"You as well." Nishinoya said.
They finally left the locker room so that Rakuzan could finish getting ready for their game. Chiharu and Nishinoya found some seats and sat down.
"Now that I think about it..." Nishinoya muttered as Chiharu raised an eyebrow. "Just how does misdirection work in basketball, Haru?"
Chiharu chuckled. "You'll just have to wait and see, Yuu." He replied as Nishinoya just huffed in reply.
The game began as Chiharu noticed that Kagami immediately went into the Zone, overpowering Rakuzan using Meteor Jam. Seirin was doing great until Rakuzan began to fight back.
"H-Hold on a minute, Seirin has a phantom player too?" Nishinoya said as he saw Kuroko pass the basketball to Kagami.
"Yeah. Apparently he's Akashi's junior high teammate from what Hiro told me." Chiharu responded.
"Talk about brutal. I'm just glad none of the volleyball teams we've been against have a phantom player." Nishinoya stated. "Otherwise we would've been screwed."
A couple of quarters later, they finally almost reached the end, with Rakuzan ahead. Chiharu noticed that every player on Seirin were at their limits and were losing their spirits. That is, until he heard someone from the balcony shout.
"You can do it, Kuroko! Don't give up!"
"Ogiwara-kun..." Kuroko muttered, seeing his friend's smiling face.
Chiharu sighed as he stood up. "Haru, what are you—" Nishinoya started to say.
"I believe in you, Seirin!" Chiharu shouted, getting Seirin's attention.
