As a merry jingle once said, 'tis the season to be jolly. And, what else could we be referring to aside from the season of Christmas.
Without a doubt, majority of the population are very much enthusiastic to celebrate the day of presents and love and magic -- you know all the sparkly, happy stuff that yours truly hasn't seen for years now.
On the contrary to majority of those who giddily ran to up their Christmas trees and socks for some candy and presents, your author here had completely forgotten that it is already Christmas morning and is now rushing to write a Christmas special chapter. And, this dumbass typing out this thing on her phone was supposed to post this on Christmas Eve.
Look, we're in the middle of a pandemic and I couldn't feel more apathetic about the coming of Christmas this year. Call me a grinch or whatever but I certainly consider Christmas day as just any normal day -- a day where I oddly feel the urge to just sleep until I can't anymore. Why would I even be looking forward to enjoying Christmas Eve when the people who are the source of my joy aren't in my reach?
Now despite your dear author's forlorn approach to the supposed merry day, I can assure you that I will not be submerging you into depression for this chapter. It is Christmas after all. Even if you don't celebrate it, I would like to offer you this chapter as my present. So, be grateful peasants; I don't get payed for spending hours writing a chapter only for assholes to put it in their reading list named "bullshit" or "don't read this". Worry not, dear readers, those notifs do not come from this particular book at all, and hopefully we'll keep it that way.
Without further ado then, let's get on to the chapter.
The Class C Dormitories would never fail to be empty during this time of the year -- with the exception ofvery few students whom had decided to stay. This year was no exception of course. Almost every room was void of any soft noise nor sign of a student; after all, the students had chosen to depart back home to spend the holidays with their beloved family. This meant that the building would be empty for a while -- until classes resume a few days after New Year's Eve that is.
Five certain teenagers had chosen to spend their evening together in the second-year common room, making themselves cosy with each other's company as they littered across the room with an abundance of snacks and treats to feast on in the center table to celebrate Christmas Eve together. The past hours had been filled by constant jeering and laughter from the group as they passed the time by playing a variety of games ranging from cards to truth or dare -- along with a mix of their made up games of course.
