The next morning, Jeongguk was awakened by a strange, unpleasant noise, brutally shaking him from his brief sleep. He reluctantly opened his eyes and groaned. He blinked a few times, confused, not quite sure what the noise was. He felt as if he had just closed his eyelids, letting Morpheus take him to the land of dreams.

The light penetrating through the open window seemed too bright and caused an unpleasant pain in his temple, making him quickly raise his hands and shield his eyes with a strong forearm. What time did he go to bed yesterday? He didn't even know how much time he had spent in Tae's studio, drawing the tattoo artist's face with charcoal. He came home in the middle of the night, threw himself on the couch in the living room, and fell asleep before he could count to five.

With a dissatisfied purr, squeezing through slightly chapped lips, he rose to a sitting position. He pushed his dark strands back with his hands, then glanced over his shoulder toward his huge open kitchen, from which there was still crackling noises.

Lisa appeared before his eyes. The girl was dressed elegantly, as if she was about to go to some business meeting. Her slim figure was dressed in a chic nude suit. She had heels of a similar shade on her feet. Her oxidized blonde hair pulled back in a high ponytail.

"Lisa, what are you doing?" he asked.

His voice was slightly hoarse. He was so bloody sleepy. He glanced quickly at the clock on the wall. It was seven in the morning. He must have slept four hours or less. He grimaced and rose heavily from the couch. His body was a bit sore, especially his neck, from sleeping in some strange, unnatural position.

Jeongguk moved his neck left and right, trying to get his muscles moving, then groaned softly as unpleasant pain shot through his body. This wake up, compared to yesterday's, was nothing pleasant.

"It's only seven in the morning," he added when the girl said nothing.

Lisa did not look in his direction, but was sure she had heard his words well. The blonde opened one of the cupboards, and then just closed it again with a loud crack, the same that woke him from sleep. He was almost one hundred percent certain that the girl was making the noise just to wake him up.

"Haven't you got enough sleep, darling?" she finally asked sarcastically and turned sharply towards him, leaning her hip against one of the cupboards.

"Why do you ask if you already know the answer to this question?" he replied, not expecting an answer.

"Is this how it's supposed to be now? You will avoid me, spend your nights away from home, or come back in the middle of the night and then sleep on the couch in the living room as if you are disgusted to touch me?" she snorted.

"You think that by attacking me and constantly arguing, you are improving our situation?" he asked, then fell silent for a moment. "We were supposed to talk, Lisa," he said, looking her straight in the eye. "And we are only arguing..."
