"5.."

Sunghoon started counting. What do I do, we just got here.

"4.."

He lifted the gun up slowly.

I tried stepping forward but stopped myself.

"3.."

Sunghoon raised the gun up to Lia's temples while playing with the trigger.

"2.."

I'm running of time.

Sunghoon didn't even say 1 when Jay came charging straight into Sunghoon knocking him over. The impact made Sunghoon release his grip on Lia's neck and the gun in his hand.

"Run!" I didn't know who he was talking to but I was frozen on my spot. Lia took the message and ran out of sight.

"April Run!" I heard Jay say as he wrestled Sunghoon. This time I took the message and ran out the back door.

*bang*

The moment I step foot outside a gunshot was heard. Adrenaline rushed through my body making me run away from the sound. I don't know what's happening which doesn't help in this situation.

*bang*

I was a street or two away from the house when I still managed to hear another gunshot.

I wanted to turn back so badly but I couldn't, it'll only put me and Jay in more danger. I ran towards an apartment complex seeing if I could just hide in the bushes or behind buildings.

"April~ baby where I you." Sunghoon's eerie voice echoed in the street giving me the shivers, chills and goosebumps.

I heard footsteps approaching me. My heart was thumping so heavily against my chest. I tried covering my mouth to silence my heaving breathing but i think the person would hear my heart beat.

A hand flies over my mouth and drags my again. I tried squirming my arms and legs in an attempt to hit the person but the held me down.

"Shh it's just me" I was relieved when I heard Jay's voice. He pressed his index finger on his lips indicating me to be quiet. We were hiding behind a building.

Jay peaked his head from the side of the building.

*bang* a loud gunshot echoed and it was mixed with the screams of Jay. I looked to see him on the floor holding his shoulder. I was about to run up to him to check on him but her stopped.

"No just run!"

"No"

I ran over to him and wrapped an arm on his side helping him stand up.

I moved as fast as possible to anywhere safe.

"He's gonna catch up, just run."

"I can't leave you. He'll kill you."

I kept moving until my legs gave out. But I got up and kept going.

My body was tired but I kept going. I made a turn that lead me to a bridge, big mistake. The bridge was long and was above the very shallow waters. But there's no turning back now.

I started running after as I could while carrying Jay. My legs gave out a second time and this time I couldn't stand up again.

"Keep going" i hissed trying to stand up again.

"April please." Jay was breathing so heavily it was quite hard to hear what he was saying.

"We've gotten so far" I tried pull Jay while on my hands and knees.

"Please Jay, don't give up on me" I stopped pulling since tears started streaming down my face again.

"April." Jay said while out of breath. "I don't think I'll make it."

"Don't say that!" I held his face in my hands.

"Please live happily, I'm sorry for bringing you into this mess." His words were half breathless and half whispers.

"Jay, don't leave me" His trembling hand lifted to my face, caressing it and wiping any tears that fell out my eyes."

"I love you, so much. I hope you know that."

He laid his hands in mine that were still around his face. He brought them down to his heart and just smiled at me.

"That was very heart warming" I already knew who the voice belonged to and when I looked up I could barely see Sunghoon through my teary eyes.

"Why can't you just leave us alone!" My screams were mixed with my sobs.

"I can't just let you go so easily, plus you heard what he said." I stopped my sobs to hear what Sunghoon meant. "Just leave me" Sunghoon mimicked Jay's tone.

"I'll help him with that"

"W-wait what do you-" I slowly stood up from the floor and tried walking to Sunghoon.

*bang*

A deathly scream left my mouth as I watch the bullet that was sent out from Sunghoon's gun pierce through Jay's almost lifeless body. I watched as the life from Jay's eyes left him.

"AAAHHHHHH" Another sickening scream left my mouth as I fell on my face crying in agony.

"It was gonna happen eventually."

"YOU SICK BASTARD" My screams mixed with my agonising sobs and wails.

I felt Sunghoon's presence approach me making me flinch up on my knees, turning my body to him. Every step he took, I crawled back.

"Stay AWAY FROM ME"

I continued crawling back with every step he took until my back hit the railing of the bridge. I stood up slowing while watching him step closer and closer to me.

"You are a horrible person" I'm emphasised the word 'horrible' while pointing at him.

"And you have no choice now, you will live with me until the end of your life."

I let out a laugh, those sinister insane laughs.

"You're only using me for your own pleasure. Well I'm sick of this. You don't control my life and no one will."

I leaned back against the railing and kept leaning back until my feet weren't touching the floor. My body started to fall from the bridge to which I smiled the whole way.

My freedom is near, at last I can be at peace.

"I love you too, Jay"
