Catching him crying in secret - Felix

You were heading to Felix's house to surprise him with a cake you baked for him. Since he would usually bake you brownies, you wanted to repay the favour, even though you have no talent in cooking.

Opening the door with the spare key he gave you, you enter the house quietly.

Luckily his parents weren't home, so you made your way to his bedroom.
You were about to open the door while yelling 'Surprise!', but stop when you hear slight sniffles.

You put your ear against the door and crease your eyebrows, starting to grow worried.

Deciding that standing still wasn't going to help, you open the door and walk in. "Felix?" You call his name.

Sitting on his bed with his face in his hands, he looks up towards you with a tear-stained face. A shocked expression replaces the sad one, and he immediately begins to wipe his tears.

"Y-y/n?" W-what are you doing h-here?"
He fumbles with his words, shifting on the bed.

"I came here to surprise you with this cake I baked for you," you hold the cake up so he could see. "But that doesn't matter right now. So tell me, why are you crying?"

You take a seat next to him on the bed as Felix tries to control his breathing.

"I- It's nothing important.... don't worry about me... I'm fine.." he smiles weakly, trying to convince you.

"Nothing important? Felix, you mean everything to me, so seeing you crying is definitely important." You cup his face in your hands and look him in the eyes.

"Also, how am I not supposed to get worried? Don't force yourself to smile. I like it when you smile because you're happy, not because you want me to think you are."

Felix wraps his arms around your waist and pulls you closer, burying his head into the crook of your neck.

"I'm sorry.... It's just that... I wonder if I'm not good enough for you... sometimes I think that you might even break up with me to go back to your ex boyfriend...."

He cries harder and his grip around you tightens. "You won't leave me, right? Please don't leave me..... I love you y/n... I love you a lot...."

You brush your fingers through his silver locks and gently smile. "I won't leave you lix. And what do you mean you're not good enough for me? You're perfect. And I wouldn't want anyone else." You draw little circles on his back to sooth him.

Felix let's go of you but still has his hands gently resting on your sides. He instantly shows you a bright smile of his and giggles happily, which causes you to smile back, before leaning in and sweetly pecking his lips.

"Now let's eat this cake, shall we? It took me hours, so I hope it's okay." You say, softly pinching his cheek.
