When Sophie woke up, all of her friends were gone, and Sophie was snuggled deep in her covers on her bed.

A knock sounded on her door. "Hey honey, are you awake?" Edalines sweet voice asked.

"Mmhm," Sophie mumbled.

The door opened to reveal her mom.

"What happened?" Sophie wondered.

"I don't know, but your friends came down at four pm saying that you fell asleep," Edaline informed her.

"Oh right, the Keefe massage," Sophie whispered to herself.

"You got a massage?" Edaline asked.

"Best one I've ever had."

"Well come and get some breakfast."

"Okay," Sophie climbed out of bed. "Wait, breakfast?"

"Yeah you slept for eighteen hours."

"That's not right."

"Yes it is," Edaline waved Sophie out of her room and down the stairs.

She walked into the kitchen and saw eggs and sausage on the stove, Grady was already eating at the breakfast nook.

Sophie took up her serving and sat down beside Grady at the table.

"Dad?"

"Yes," Grady said.

"Why do you hate Tam so much?"

"I don't necessarily hate him."

Sophie raised an eyebrow.

"Maybe just a little bit."

"Why?" Sophie asked.

"Well for starters, he has dyed hair, he's extra shady, and he's emo," Grady listed.

"He's not emo," Sophie told him.

"You sure?"

Sophie was about to answer when her phone dinged.

She took it out of her pocket and saw a text from Tam. She quickly stuffed her mouth as much as she could, before she excused herself and went into the living room.

Oh look, she does eat.

Are you spying on me?

Yes.

Shouldn't you be done with that since I joined the order.

No. Biana is though. You don't need two people spying on you since you know everything about the Neverseen and stuff. But if something happens to you, someone has to know.

So I only have one stalker now?

Only one that we know about.

There could be more?

Yeah.

I got a paparazzi.

Sure. Anyways, I'm here to take you to HQ.

Why?

Training.

Can't I get a day off?

No.

Fine. Give me five minutes.

Okay.
