Temari sat on her bed, fidgeting woth her shorts, when Shikamaru came into the room. She smiled and looked at him.
"Good news!" Temari exclaimed.
Shikamaru smiled. "Hmm?"
"Im pregnant!"
"Youre what?!"
Temari smiled until she saw the look of annoyance on his face. She frowned.
"Are you okay? You seem annoyed"
He shook his head.
"No, im fine I just need a smoke."
He grabbed a cigarette but Temari snapped it in half.
"NO SMOKING! DO YOU WANT ME TO INHALE THAT SMOKE AND OUR BABY BEING UNHEALTHY!?"
shikamaru rolled his eyes.
"Correction,YOUR baby. I cant, im just not-"
Temari gave him a look of hurt before standing up.
"I see, I'll be staying at Ino's tonight."
Temari sounded like her voice would shatter at the slightest touch. He was about to speak but she left.

Temari sat on Inos couch, balling her eyes out. Ino came home to find her there.
"Temmy? Whats wrong?"
Temari told her everything and Ino clenched her fists. She then smirked.
"I have a plan." She grinned.

Shikamaru was invited to Ichirakus ramen by Naruto. He arrived and saw Temari there. She looked sad and he could tell she had been crying. He felt guilty. He knew it was his fault. He then saw a man approach her and chat her up. She laughed at whatever he had to say. Shikamaru felt mad and approached them.
"Temari, I have clan matters to discuss."
He then dragged her away before she could protest.
"Im sorry, Tem. I didnt mean what I said. I was just worried. I didnt want to dissapoint you or the child. Plus, your mom died giving birth so i was scared you woul-"
He was cut off by her lips.
"I forgive you."
She smiled her signature toothy grin at him amd stayed by him the rest of the night.
