Ch-52

Gao Yu Lan slept soundly through the night without even dreaming.
She was awakened by Yin Ze’s kiss.
While she was sleeping soundly, her sleep was disturbed and it made Gao Yu Lan very upset.  She frowned and slapped whoever it was and muttered.  “Don’t disturb…….”
“It’s already noon……do you still want to sleep?”  Yin Ze’s voice was gentle and soft.  Gao Yu Lan heartlessly answered with a grunt and continued to sleep.
After a while, she finally reacted.  Suddenly she opened her eyes and realized……Oh God,  this is not her house but a hotel!
“It’s already noon?!”  She cried out in shock.
Yin Ze walked out of the bathroom and picked up his watch on the TV cabinet to show her.  “It’s already twelve plus.”
She looked carefully and then cried out miserably.  She jumped up and danced around anxiously in circles.  “What should I do?!  What should I do?!”

“Stop!  Stop!”  Yin Ze pulled the quilt over and wrapped her with it.  “Be careful not to catch a cold.”

“I…….I ran out last night without telling my parents.  What should I do?  It’s already so late, they are sure to be up by now.  When they find out I’m not at home without telling them, they’ll certainly feel anxious.”
Yin Ze handed his phone to her.  “Give them a call, first.”

“What should I tell them?”
“Think about it yourself.”  Yin Ze dragged a chair over and sat down opposite her.
She pursed her lips and felt dissatisfied.  “Because of you, I didn’t return home last night.  Now I am to be scolded, you’re not even helping to think of a solution.”
Yin Ze shrugged.  “There is a solution.  Tell them you’ve found them a good son-in-law and will bring him home in a while to meet them.  Once they feel happy, they won’t scold you.”
He really has the nerve to say this!
She glared at him and after taking a few deep breaths she looked at Yin Ze again.  Finally, she dialed her house phone number.

“Mom, it’s me……I’m sorry.  No, no, I’m fine.  It’s just that a friend had suddenly come to C-city and I was anxious to see him, so I didn’t tell you.  Er…..yes, I also forgot to bring along my phone……”
While she was talking on the phone, she sneaked looks at Yin Ze and saw him grinning.  She blushed, she did not even change her clothes and slippers…… how could she still remember her phone?

Gao Yu Lan pacified her mother and also said that she would be returning home later while at the side, Yin Ze was looking at her with glittering eyes.  She paused and then added that she would also be bringing her friend back.  Only then did Yin Ze nodded at her with satisfaction.
After Gao Yu Lan hung up the phone, she suddenly pounced on Yin Ze.  “You’re a rascal.  You didn’t help me instead, you still laughed at me.”
Yin Ze burst into laughter and carried her towards the bed.  He wrapped her in the quilt, kissed her again and again, and then said.  “Stay here by yourself for a while.  Wash up and take a rest.  You can watch TV while I’m out.”
“Where are you going?”

“I’m going to the nearby boutique to buy you some clothes and shoes.  You don’t intend to walk out of this hotel wearing your pajamas and cartoon slippers, do you?”
When she heard him, she repeatedly nodded.  Yin Ze bent down to kiss her gently and then turned to leave.  Gao Yu Lan called out behind him.  “Do you know what size I wear?”
“What do you think?”  Yin Ze turned his head around and winked at her with a sly smile.  She blushed and said angrily to him.  “Don’t talk nonsense and come back quickly!”

Yin Ze laughed and went out leaving Gao Yu Lan alone in the hotel room.  She hugged the quilt and her thoughts wandered as she started to recall everything that had happened last night.  Suddenly she felt a sense of unreality in her heart.  She had actually done it…….and she even told her mother she would be bringing her friend home.
Gao Yu Lan blushed, bit her lip, and had the urge to laugh.  She had done it and now she also has a boyfriend to bring home.
Yin Ze came back faster than she expected.  He did not only buy her a set of clothes and shoes, but he also bought her a new set of undergarments.  Gao Yu Lan shyly went into the bathroom to change her clothes and while she was changing she could hear her stomach growling with hunger.
