In which the badass Slytherin lets her guard down for a special Hufflepuff

Y/n POV:
As classes finish, the sun had settled above the lake, making it glimmer and I thought it would nice to study outside by the Black Lake. I always liked studying by myself, people just annoy me, like all the time. I've been known to have a bitchy attitude. I'm proud of it. No one walks over me. It's great.

I was at the lake for about an hour before someone wrapped their arms around me. I swear this person has a death wish or something. "Whoever is touching me, you have five seconds to remove your hands, before I throw you into the lake." I clenched my jaw.

"Even me, love." Said person whispered into my ear. It was Cedric.

I turned my head to face him, and smiled a bit. "Sorry." I muttered. "I didn't know it was you. You know how I am with physical touch."

"I'm sorry too, I should have said something first." He apologized.

"It's alright." I moved a bit so I was laying in between his legs, my back to his chest, as he wrapped his arms around my waist, placing his chin on my shoulder, watching me study.

Cedric made me feel like a whole different person. He made me happy. I wasn't the bitchy Slytherin with him. He made me soft. We sat in comfortable silence for about thirty minutes with me studying and Cedric just happily watching, occasionally placing kisses on my neck and shoulders.

"Do you want have dinner in the Astronomy Tower tonight?" I asked finishing up my studying. Before he was able to answer someone interrupted us.

"Well, this is a sight to see." Someone called. We both looked up to see Draco, Blaise, Theo, the twins, the trio and Ginny.

"Hello to you ferret." I said.

"Never mind, she's back." Draco said.

"Fuck off. What do you want." I asked annoyed.

"Just wanted to see my very best friend." He teased.

"Stop staying that, we aren't best friends, I can barely stand you." I sighed.

"Whatever then, carry on, don't worry about us." He answered as the rest of them sat by us.

"So we're going to dinner." I said to Cedric changing my whole demeanor.

"I love that the voice changes when you talk to him." Theo teased.

"Oh my Salazar, do you want me to talk super loud?" I asked.

"No, no just have a... you're so nice to him." Theo pondered.

"You're literally the biggest bitch to us." Fred commented. I flipped them all off.

"Hey guys, so we're gonna go to dinner now." George mocked.

"I don't sound like that." I yelled, they all started to laugh.

"I don't sound like that, do I?" I turned to ask Cedric.

"No you don't, they're just being mean." He answered kissing the tip of my nose, which made me blush.

"Merlin, she's blushing." Blaise gawked.

Ron eyebrows furrowed. "How can a someone go from deadly to...that...in a matter of seconds?" He queries.

"It's called being a woman." Hermione snapped.

"What's got her wand in a knot?" Ron asked Harry who just shrugged.

Who would have thought, the big bad Slytherin can be soft with her companion Hufflepuff.
