so- I like to listen to my story to be read to me by my computer, if I read over it myself I tend to overlook mistakes but having it read aloud I can hear the misspellings or (most of) the grammar mistakes.
ANYWAY, the automated voice mispronounces some of the names of the characters and I hope my readers do not.
And just for fun, the meanings of their names as well.This is how you pronounce some names:
Alana: uh- lah- nah
Meaning: Darling child, beautiful offeringIvo: Eye-voh (My computer says "eevo" which is right, but this Ivo is pronounced differently)
Meaning: Yew (a tree with red berries)Silas: SIGH-less (Nickname: Si= Sigh)
Meaning: Man Of The ForestKazumi: KAH- zoo- mee
Meaning: beautiful peaceLeven: Like Eleven, but without the E at the beginning
Meaning: place of flood, lion, tiger, lifeLeopoldo: LEE- oH- PAUL- DOUGH
Meaning: a bold man,Mamoru: Maa-more-ru
Meaning: defend, protectSide Characters:
Kazuyuki: Kah- zoo- Yoo- Key
Meaning: peaceful snowKoyuki: koh- yoo-key
Meaning: Little SnowHadan: Hah- don
Meaning: Hay valleyChusi: (it's really hard to type this out lol it's not really chew-see but if you say it really fast it sounds more like the real pronunciation)
