Empty chest and misplaced heart
What can fix them if not love?
Strangled feelings falling apart
What can fix them if not love?

Frozen soul and lava eyes
Why so heartless, tell me love?
Cinnamon smiles masking lies
Why so heartless, tell me love?

Warm shades of autumn dusk
What does she call it if not love?
Tangled sanity in his musk
What does she call it if not love?

He's blinding sky of midday sun
Can you stare, but my love?
He's midnight sky of stars undone
Can you stare, but my love?

Feather touches and fleeting glances
What do they birth if not love?
Losing hearts and seeking chances
What do they birth if not love?

Mad rebellions and tearing strings
Ain't she crazy in his love?
Breaking chains and growing wings
Ain't she crazy in his love?

She's porcelain doll with fractured skin
What can fix her if not love?
She ain't some stranger to baleful sins
Who can save her if not him?

This messed up place and people we call society.

about
═════

• This book talks about the shortcomings of our society and of us in general, and represents my personal perspective on dreams, love (not in romantic aspect only), and the way of life.

• The characters in the book are flawed people, chosen as Muslims, but defining or portraying Islam in no perfect sense, so shall not be judged.

• The characters represent Pashtun culture and traditions that might slightly differ from others, but the messages of the book remain the same for all.

• Any local terminologies used through out the book will be translated/explained alongside.

• The setting of the story oscillates between KP, Pakistan and Dublin, Ireland.

• Lastly, being a Muslim and Pashtun myself, whatever described in the story, though fictional, will be from my own knowledge/experience, but that regional differences among Muslims/Pashtuns do exist. The culture and religion chosen so are for my own convenience, and in no way are highlighted as faulty. You're welcome to share your opinions, but any hatred towards anything/anyone will NOT be tolerated, at all.

Warning: This is not your cliché book and touches sensitive subjects that might break hearts and shatter egos. If you're easily offended, this is not a place for you. If you decide to continue,
