EISHA HAD NEVER RAN SO FAST in her entire life — and let's be clear — this wasn't her first 'run away from nasty men' situation.
Oh, no. She had done it many, many times.
But, this was the first time she had a whole clone battalion on her tail. Yep, that grumpy, little soldier boy who took her fist to his jaw, clearly took her quick attack personally. Hence, he called in more reinforcements!
'Oh, universe! How I love you so, so much!'
Sarcasm encased her thoughts: short, pure white ringlets rustled around her face as she ran.
'Maker, I am not fit enough for this.'
Desperately needing to take a breath, she pushed on; knowing she'd get no such luxury — not with the growing number of clones chasing her at least.Brushing back a curl, she ignored the burning in her legs; rolling her eyes as she listened to their shouts.
Gods, she wanted to flip them off.
'I'm going to die.'
It was absolute overkill — this many police droids and clones? Chasing her down for stealing fruit? It was ridiculous.
Or maybe it wasn't just that.
Fear consumed her, and the burning of her limbs died off; adrenaline coursing through the teen. They were gaining on her still. Fast.
Well then, she'd just have to level the playing field.
In one swift motion, the girl Force-pushed herself up to a building roof; watching heartily as almost every clone trooper's face fell from behind their helmets at her unexpected move.
