when the incident happened, many things seemed to happen very quickly after it. blame was thrown around and arguments broke out, tearing apart a close group of friends.
miyeon was one of them, one of the people to be blamed and argued with. and so, she left, not just seoul but south korea, heading to the united states for a few months.
she could forget her life there for a while, and have time to grieve and find a way to feel better. and as soon as she did, her parents told her that she was to come back to seoul.
her stay in the us was only temporary, however there were people in seoul who wouldn't want her there. she shouldn't be there, give them more space. but next thing she knew, her parents were flying back ofer, and within the week she would be attending school again.

❛ TAKE ME AGAIN ━━ this book is based on the kdrama rather than the webtoon and i will be following that plot line. i only own hwang miyeon's character and her story, as well as the various characters i have created that fit within that, everything else goes to the creator of the webtoon and those working on the kdrama. that being said, miyeon's storyline does include trauma, as does the kdrama. this book will have mentions and implications of suicide, disordered eating, self harm and topics such as that.
❛ AND HEAVENS WHO KNOWS ━━ this is an add on book to my soloist book - flourishing. hwang miyeon is the added character that my soloist, park seora, plays in the kdrama. however, it can be read separately, but if you're interested in soloist books, there you go :)
