You were a small-time criminal, nothing above a C or B rank. But that didn't stop you from having so much fun with robbing people and becoming richer and richer. It was so much fun just to zip around the city, do some low-level crimes, beat a few people up, and then run back to your home. Of course, you put the money into different accounts to cover your tracks. You were a villain, not an idiot. But, you may have been evil, but you did keep your identity a secret. Especially from your girlfriend of over 3 months, Yu Takeyama.

You had met her at a bar one night after a successful run through a bank and escape from a pro hero. While you were celebrating, she was a little under the weather. After some help for her, you both started to hook up, and all around, it was fun. Which reminded you where you needed to be tonight. You had a date planned with Yu and the last thing you wanted to be was late. Of course, it didn't help much that the Lurkers were on your trail all day today.

You were zipping around the city as Kamui Woods and Edgeshot chased after you. You glanced back as you saw Kamui Woods running along a rooftop to get a height advantage on you as Edgeshot used the roads.

You quickly stopped along the road and slid back. Once you came full stop, you used your speed quirk to vibrate your arm to make a small tornado. The wind force was enough to blow Edgeshot away but not Kamui.

(Y/N): You guys do know that if you wanted a height advantage, you bring the girl who gets paid to step on dudes.

Kamui Woods extended his fingers down to attack you. You smirked and quickly rolled out of the way and gave him a finger gun.

(Y/N): Oh! Close but no cigar!

You chuckled and took off running again. You jumped over some cars and then flipped down onto a lower level of the highway. As you ran for a little while, you heard your phone going off and quickly answered it.

(Y/N): Hello, hello.

Yu: (Y/N)? Where are you?

(Y/N): Ah, sorry, babe. Some jackasses kept me up from work. I'll be there soon, I swear.

Yu: Ok. You better not be late.

(Y/N): Yu, since when am I ever late when it comes to you?

You heard a sly giggle and hug up. You cracked your neck and knuckles and went into overdrive. The restaurant was about 10 blocks away, easy run. You glanced back to see if they were still on you but considering you maneuvered through downtown with so many turns, you should have been alright. You stopped in an alleyway just around the corner of the restaurant and got out of your costume and into proper dress wear.

It wasn't the first time you had done this, and it most likely wouldn't be the last. You combed your hair back and got your glasses on and walked back to the restaurant you had reserved for the night. Once you walked in, you saw Yu waiting at the corner table. You speed walked over to her and sat down opposite of her.

(Y/N): Sorry. So sorry. I didn't mean to keep you waiting all that time.

Yu: It's fine, (Y/N). I mean, I almost missed this because of my own work.

(Y/N): Oh? Speaking of, how's that going? I know you said it was a new job.

Yu: I'm a secretary. I'm not out in the fields with the actual pros.

(Y/N): Ever given it any thought?

Yu: Psh. I'm 23. If I wanted to be a pro hero, I should have decided that back when I was 13.

(Y/N): You still look like you could play the part.

Yu blushed and giggled a little. Your waiter came on by and you both ordered your food and drinks and began to catch up with one another. It had been nearly 3 weeks since your last date and that was because of work. See Yu started working for the Lurkers as a secretary for the hero team. Wasn't too big on the inside, mostly just filing some paperwork and working PR for them. Still, it did provide some good insight for you and how to avoid the trio of heroes.

When she asked about your profession, you just stuck with the usual idea that you worked in a museum as the curator. Half of that was true. You did use to work at a museum, but not as the curator. Still, you did have knowledge to pass everything off as legit. You explained to her that some new deals to get exhibits in, even offering to take her on a round trip of the museum center as a little date. She walked it off, but the idea was there nonetheless.

When the food came, most conversation stopped. It was very obvious that you both were starving. You didn't mind the silence, but it was also a bit interrupted by Yu's phone going off a few times throughout the meal. After about time number 8, Yu groaned and looked at the messages she was receiving.

(Y/N): Everything ok?

Yu: Yeah. Just a little annoyed. Don't worry about it.

(Y/N): Well, what's happening? Maybe I can be therapy for you.

Yu: You really don't have to do that.

(Y/N): I want to though. I want to help you. So, hit me, what's going on?

She sighed a little before smiling at you.

Yu: The Lurkers have been on edge recently. Some villains have been getting more crafty. They want me at the office more and more to handle reports and records. I'm a secretary. Not a filer. I don't even know how to properly handle reports all that well. Not to mention, I do more PR for them than anything else.

(Y/N): And it's stressing you out trying to figure out what to do and how to do the responsibilities you already have.

Yu: Exactly!

(Y/N): Screw 'em. Take tonight off. If you've been buster your chops all day, the least you deserve is a few hours of R&R. Tell you what, how about to come over to my place with me. I have some old school board games.

Yu: Jeez, what are you, 4?

(Y/N): Five actually, but thank you for the compliment.

Yu laughed a little before looking back at you.

Yu: Alright then "hero". Let's play.

You smirked at her and you both clinked your glasses together. After the meal was paid and the night was in full swing, you guys drove back to your apartment and walked on inside. You smiled at her as you showed it off to her.

(Y/N): Well?

Yu: Not bad. Looks rather homey. I like it.

(Y/N): I know it's not the cleanest place around, but I could always spruce it up tomorrow. In case you ever would like to come back.

Yu turned to you and saw your awkward smile. She smiled back at you and nodded.

Yu: Would love to. Now, those games.

(Y/N): Coming right up.

You walked into your bedroom and began to look through some of your old gear inside. You made sure to hide the briefcase that contained the most recent prize and your suit. You smiled once you found a set of shoots and ladders and pulled it out. You blew on the top to wipe the dust off of it. You smiled and walked outside of the room and back out into the main living space.

(Y/N): Ready for the most relaxing night of your-

You felt wooden vines chain around you as you saw Kamui Woods in your apartment with Edgeshot standing by the door. You were shocked and tried to fight it.

(Y/N): Yu! Yu get out of...here...

You saw her walk back out from the bathroom in her true uniform. You were dating Mt. Lady for 3 months and hadn't even realized it yet.

(Y/N): But...but...

Yu: It's not personal. Ok, maybe slightly personal. You chose villainy. This is what you get. Have fun in prison.

Your heart shattered as she just sounded so heartless. Almost like you were an afterthought. You never had a girlfriend. You had someone just using you...playing into you...all for their job. You hanged your head as Kamui Woods cuffed you and walked you out of the building.
