"You little monster. Joanna and Marcylla are my only daughters. Do you really think I'll let you and father sell them like common whores? Cersei questioned her brother in rage and fury after finding out there were negotiations to marry them off again – Cersei was eternally grateful when she heard about Joanas whereabouts. Nothing brought her more joy to the thought that all four her children would be reunited once again, though Tywin and Tyrion had different plans.

"They are princesses. Some would say they were born for this." Tyrion reasoned

"I will not let you ship them off to High – Garden and Dorne like I was shipped off to Robert Baratheon."

"Dorne will be the safest place for her and can you truthfully and willingly tell me that Joanna wants to return. She's fighting for the Starks and I could tell from my last visit to the North that she has grown to care for Robb Stark."

"Are you mad? The Starks and Martells loathe us."

"That's why we need to seduce them. We need the Martells in the war your son started." Tywin calmly answered

"Marcylla will be a captive." Cersei countered

"A guest."

"A guest? My daughter has been held captive in the North, forced to betray her family and you expect me to believe Marcylla will be treated any better?"

"Just how safe do you think your daughters are in Kings Landing? Do you want to see them raped, butchered like the Targeryen children? Make no mistake. Theyll mount their pretty little heads on spikes right beside yours."

"GET OUT! GET OUT!" Cersei demanded as she shoved her brother into the stairs.

Tommen and Marcylla sat in her chambers that nights. Tommen begged his mother that he visit his sister before hed go to bed. Cersei sat peacefully at the end of the bed as her two youngest played with Tommens new cat. Cersei was at ease with her children – she could see why Joanna would always offer to put them to bed at night. The brought a sense of peace and serenity to the chaos and madness that were their lives. They were innocent and so oblivious to the true horrors that they would face outside of the Capitol.

"Do you think Joanna misses us?" Tommen asked his sister. Marcylla untied her hair as she looked to their mother for an answer. The children missed their sister ever since they were separated in Winterfell. Marcylla had so hoped after Ned and Roberts death that Joanna be returned to them. It was the only thing Joffrey seemed to demand. In some way it made them optimistic

"Of course she does my sweetling."

"Then why did she leave us?" Tommen asked sadly looking down as he did not want his mother to see him cry. Cersei walked over to where they sat Marcylla resting her head on her mothers shoulder and Tommen laying his head in his mothers lap. Her hand soothingly combing his hair

"Did she leave us because she loves Robb mother?"

"What makes you say that she loves him darling?" Cersei asked

"Joanna once told me that she didnt know if she was ready for marriage but she did say she liked him. She said she only wanted to marry him if she truly loved him. She must love him if shes willing to fight for him mother." Marcylla innocently answered. Cersei smirked proudly at Marcyllas words. Her kind and innocent answer reminded her so much of Joanna. Every day she had to stand and witness Joffreys madness as he claims to king. Everyday shes reminded that she failed him as a mother but Joanna –

Joanna knew better. Thats why she took care of them, nurtured them. To ensure they wouldnt end up like Joffrey.

"Joanna may love him, but she will always love her family more. She is a lioness and you will forever be her pride and joy."
