Levi x Reader - Her Reckless Behaviour 2

Part 2-13

We've returned from finding the book and all the necessary 'ingredients' to make what Hange like to call, a potion. When in reality it's simply something like a vaccine.

"So..." I interrupt Hange's explanation, "Are you just going to inject her? Wouldn't that require a large...needle. Or something?" I ask confused as to how this is going to happen.

"I'm glad you asked (y/n)," She pulls out a blueprint, and her demeanor changes as she becomes more serious, "I've designed a blade that functions as a needle. But instead of injecting it, we simply have to slice through her nape,"

"And if this doesn't work?" Thea asks from the corner.

"Oh, she could die," Hange adjusts her glasses.

"Then no way,"

"Thea come on," Noah tries to convince her, "She already says she wants to do it," 

I look out the window as Noah and Thea continue to argue. I watch Tin as she lays against a tree, something seems so familiar about her. I don't know what but something is off. My mind wanders as to why she looks like someone I used to know.

"Uh, (y/n)?" I look over at Thea a look of worry on her face as she looks at Noah who gives her the same expression. Glancing over at Levi I drop my head.

"Sorry, I zoned out for a second," 

"What do you think about this?" 

"About?" I look at them for an answer before looking at the blueprints on the table, "Oh that," shrugging I place a hand on the back of my neck, "I think it could work. We should try it," I look over at Levi once again and he looks at me his eyebrows furrowing in concern. 

"Well that settles it," Hange rubs her hands together, "I'll get to work then! You're all dismissed," 

We walk outside Levi and I heading back to the building while Thea and Noah walk to Tin. I look back at them trying to figure out where I've seen Tin before. There's no way...I can't have seen her anywhere. 

"(y/n)?"

"Levi," I look over at him unsure whether to tell him. Instead of saying anything, I shake my head. Thea can get into his head...I don't want that to be there. But Tin gets into mine. I put a hand up to my head the stress causing my head to slightly pound as we continue our walk. 

"What's wrong?" 

"Nothing," I give him a nervous chuckle as I clasp my shaking hands behind my back, picking up speed. 

"You can talk to me (y/n). I'm here-"

"It's fine...I'm fine," the pounding intensifies but I try to ignore it. Shit, what is it this time? I ask myself worried that Tin is trying to talk to me again. 

By the time we get back to HQ it's already dark. I decide to grab dinner with everyone before heading back to my room. Quickly I get ready for bed hoping that sleep will take away this pounding headache. 

The ceiling stares back at me as I wonder. Slowly I close my eyes taking in a few deep breaths. How come she seems familiar now? Why didn't I notice anything before? A sliver of light from the hallway enters my room before it quickly disappears. The creaking of my bed and the shifting of the sheets as an arm slowly wraps around my waist. Our breathing synchronizing as we lay in silence the moonshine peaking through the window. 

A few breaths later and I'm asleep but this time I'm not met with the darkness. This time, I'm taken back to the day I lost Josh. My surroundings are blurry as I hear the screams and crunches of those around me. I feel his hand around mine as I watch him get pulled away. My subconscious tells me to look up but I can't bring myself to do it. I want to look into his one last time. His kind eyes are calm as he lets go of my hand. I don't scream this time, instead, I'm as calm as his eyes. 

I watch his lips move and I tilt my head unable to hear what he is saying. Until I realize he's not saying those same words he said before. Instead, he's telling me to look up, I can't. 

"(y/n), lookup. Then you'll understand," he gives me his warm smile as he leaves my view. I want to see him again. Is all I think before tilting my head to look up at the titan.

"Tin?" it takes a second but as soon as my brain makes the connection I take in a sharp breath sitting up in my bed. "She killed him,"

"(y/n)? What are you talking about?"

"Tin...she killed Josh,"

"(y/n), that's..." he stops as I turn to look at him. He's standing in the middle of my room pulling a shirt over his head. "Is that why you looked at me weird yesterday?" I get out of bed and head to the bathroom.

"She did it," I mutter before Levi grabs my wrist.

"Why now? Why do you notice this now?"

"I don't know Levi, but I know she did it," he lets go and I go get ready. 

"What are you gonna do?" he asks as I put my boots on

"You know what I'm going to do," 

Skipping breakfast I make my way outside and grab my ODM gear before running to where Tin is. Once in the forest, I switch to using my ODM gear. The whizzing of Levi behind me as the end of the forest is in view. Once there I watch Hange head into her lab before I run to Tin. Shooting my hooks once I'm close enough.

"You son of a bitch!" I yell as I fly through the air swinging at anything and everything, "You killed Josh!" I continue to dodge her hands. Before I make my way up her back to her nape. I jump back before aiming and shooting only for the hooks to bounce off, "Fuck you!" I scream locking onto her lower back before running down her legs slicing under the back of her knee to make her fall.

"You fucking ate him!" My name is being called but I ignore it. Watching her hand coming at me I slice the fingers off and she screams in pain. The steam coming off her intensifying with every slice I make. It gets harder to see where I'm going and where I'm aiming until I feel a shiver throughout my whole body. No longer feeling the heat as I feel a cold air pass through me. Then a pressure as if I've been hit by a car as I realize I'm in her grip. I yell at her as I self destruct in her hands. 

Not having anticipated the large blast I feel the world spin as I fall. Disoriented I try shooting my blades but they don't hit anything. Instead, she catches them spinning them, and slamming my body against a tree. I let out a groan the impact rushing through my body. My name is called again. All I can see is white as I feel my body fall and it never stops until the white turns to black and I don't feel anything anymore.
