Skylar was in her winter suit which was navy blue leggings with her knives, a long sleeve top with a hood, and her chakram behind her back while she was fighting hydra agents. She then heard cap scold. "Language!" As Tony bounced off the force field of the base.
"Jarvis, what's the view from upstairs?" Skylar asked. "The central building is protected by some sort of energy shield, this is well beyond any other hydra base we've ever taken." Jarvis said. "Of course it is" Skylar said with sarcasm.
"Loki's scepter must be here, Strucker couldn't mount his defenses without it. At long last." Thor said. Skylar had to admit that she was also happy that this maybe had to be the last hydra base they had take.
"'At long last' is lasting a little long boys." Natasha said landing on the ground. "Yeah," Clint said from behind a tree shooting an arrow at a bunker. "I think we lost the element of surprise."
"Wait a second is nobody gonna talk about how cap just said 'language'?" Tony asked. "I know," Cap said flipping over his bike. "It just slipped out." Skylar sighed. "There goes another bike."
Skylar was walking cautiously through the snow as she heard footsteps not so far away at the cornered her eye she saw a hydra soldier trying to sneak up on her but quickly really dark purple mist started coming from her hand and blasted it threw the soldier, he was immediately on the ground.
Times like this, I'm glad I have enhanced senses. She then heard a bullet shoot from the bunker and Skylar used her energy shield to block it. Not even a second later Skylar was knocked to a tree by a blur that turned into a boy with silver hair. "Don't wanna get yourself hurt there." He said.
She blasted him with purple energy and said. "Should say the same for you." He glared at her and then speeded off.
She then heard another bullet shoot. "Clint!" Natasha shouted. "We have an enhanced in the field." Cap said through comms. "Clint's hit!" Natasha shouted back. Skylar frowned, already scolding herself.
"Does anyone wanna deal with that bunker?" Skylar asked and the hulk smashed it with ease. "Thank you." She said simply.
"Stark, we really get inside." Cap said. "I'm closing in. JARVIS, am I...closing in? Do you see a power source to that shield?" Tony asked the AI.
"The pathway below the north tower." Jarvis said.
"Great I wanna poke it with something." Tony said.
Skylar had a confused look on her face when he said and mouthed. "What?" She threw her chakram at a soldier and brought it back. "You can't just poke random things with other random things." Skylar said.
"Sky, shush and let me be me." Tony said. There was an explosion before Tony spoke again. "Drawbridge is down people! See Skylar, me poking things with other random things is why we get things done."
Skylar rolled her blue eyes.
"Clint's hit pretty bad guys, we're gonna need evac." Natasha said through comms. "I can get Barton to the jet. The sooner we're gone the better." Thor said. Skylar looked at the soldiers with a tank lining up.
"Looks like they're lining up." Thor said amused, Skylar shrugged. "Well they're excited." She said and got behind them. Cap held up his shield and Thor simply pounded it. The force knocking down the remaining soldiers. Skylar ripped up the tank with energy.
"Find the scepter. Thor said before flying off.
"And for gosh's sake watch your language!" Tony mocked and cap let out a long sigh. "That's not going away any time soon." Skylar patted his shoulder. "No, no it's not." She said in his voice.
