Adelaide looked at herself in her mirror of the bathroom in the train, she was wearing a white skirt with an oversized orange sweater tucked in at the waist. She had on a pair of black hightop converse and had white socks poking out the top. Her dark wavy was pulled into a half-up-half-down and a white silk bow held the pieces of hair out of her face.

"Everything is going to be okay," She wiped the small cut on her cheekbone, which came from her father's ring a few hours earlier. She forced her frown into her signature bright smile.

Turning around to the door of the bathroom she hesitated, she would have to pass all the other students while she tried to find her friends compartment. She wasn't sure if she was ready to be back at school, but she didn't exactly have a choice in the matter. Her parents wouldn't let her stay home, nor did she want to, and maybe this is what she needed to move on with her life.

Adelaide opened the door and stepped out apologizing to the second year waiting next to the door. As she walked down the train, she bid hello to anyone she passed but couldn't help herself from looking in all the compartments for a specific Hufflepuff with golden brown hair and blue eyes. She hoped it was all a bad dream but she knew it wasn't, but it wouldn't hurt to look, right?

She finally came across a compartment that had Amanda, Katrina, and Harry sitting together in one compartment. She smiled and opened the door, opening her arms for a hug, Amanda stood up first and tackled the small girl. After a few seconds Katrina stood up and hugged her, swaying back and forth slightly.

Once they parted Adelaide turned and put her crossbody bag on the shelf above them and then turned to Harry, "You think you're going to get away with not giving me a hug?"

Harry laughed and stood to meet the girl who hugged him tightly, she knew what The Daily Prophet was saying about him. She felt bad for the boy who was probably going to experience a terrible year because of the denial of others, she was going to offer him a hand in anyway she could.

It was her only way of thanking him for bringing Cedric back.

"How was you lot's summers?" She asked sitting with her back against the window of the compartment tossing her legs up on the seat between her and Harry.

"Mine was okay. Dad was working most of it, spent most of my time in Diagon Ally." Amanda spoke nonchalantly.

Her dad worked at the Ministry and her mother was a muggle, but she passed away when Amanda was young. She didn't like talking about her much, but it was always kind things when she did speak of the woman. Her father was the sweetest man, Addy was convinced that he was made from candy. He always did what he could for Mindy and loved her unconditionally.
