Unbelievable Love

Chapter 12

It took a couple of minutes to get to the Mystery Shack. There are fewer screams. That must mean most of the townspeople have been captured. Figures why Bill is bored. Not many people left to torture. Her bubble is still there. I need to find a loophole to get her out of there. She needs to suffer like the rest of them.

"We are here Pinetree." 8-Ball said.

"Dipper. Please call me Dipper," it's weird hearing others calling me Pinetree. "Stay hidden in the woods. I'll get the stuff first and then I am going to break the protective forcefield so you guys can have your fun."

"Aye-aye Dipper." Py saluted.

I walked slowly to the Mystery Shack, carefully listening. I heard nothing. I opened the creaky door and called out, "Hello? Anyone home?" No response. I shrugged and walked inside. I did not get too far before both people and magical forest creatures popped out of the hiding places carrying some type of weapon while letting out a war cry. I got so startled that I almost cast out the fire spell. Thank Bill I didn't.

"Dipper?" It was Stan. "Thank galloping horses, you're still alive!" No thanks to you.

"What happened? Where is Mabel?" Time to put on an act.

"I don't know. Mabel took my backpack that had the rift. It, It must have broken in there causing Weirdmageddon. Ford and I tried to kill Bill," I started to tear up for effect. "A weirdness wave hit. And then Ford, Ford got captured. I, I can't find Mabel anywhere." I started to fake cry.

"Whoa, whoa kid. Take a deep breath." Stan led me to the living room couch.

"That idiot," He whispered. "Stay here and calm down. You are safe here. Grenada, Candy, and Pacifica are here. You can talk to them." They aren't my friends though. Besides Pacifica, they are Mabel's friends.

"I would like to be alone."

"Alright kiddo." He gave me a few pats and left. I thought he would never leave me alone.

I left discreetly to the vending machine. It was kinda hard due to the number of people and creatures here. There were gnomes, weird man McGugett, a Manticore, and... and the Multibear. Shit. I am glad he is alive but here! I'll find a way to warn him discreetly later. Right now, Ford's documents are important.

As I arrive at Ford's office, I begin my search. There were documents in every drawer. None of them were about the barrier. I open some boxes. Still nothing. He probably is hiding it somewhere in here. I moved boxes. I looked under the desks. I went through computer files. I went to the portal room and searched there! There was nothing. I went back to the office and sat down in front of the giant Bill tapestries.

"I don't suppose you know where it is at?" I chuckled a bit. I am not sure if he heard me or not. It doesn't matter. I walked closer to the tapestries. I stood on top of the table so I would be able to touch it.

"What am I supposed to do now? I have no information whatsoever. I do not know where to start. Maybe I, I can electro scan the barrier." I clutch the tapestry, "I do not want to disappoint you. You have given me a chance. A chance to continue living and destroying others for wronging me. I made an actual friend, Py. I am learning magic. It is all thanks to you. I want to repay you for your kindness."

I looked down to my feet. That is when I noticed something. A tapestry is partially on the table. I go closer to it and pull it aside. There was a safe behind it! I quickly jump down from the table with a big smile on my face. I looked for a glass cup. Once I found it, I used the cup to listen to the clicks of the safe. I am actually quite happy that Stan taught me that trick. I took a deep breath before opening the safe. This better be it. There was a laptop, a journal, and a couple of papers in there. I looked at the journal and it had some information about the barrier! I put all the stuff in my backpack. As I was putting all the stuff inside, I noticed there was some unicorn hair in there. I thought Ford used it all? He lied to us. I stashed it in the backpack to get rid of it later.

I go back to the elevator. As I got out of the vending machine, I heard Wendy's voice. I went over to the source of her voice. I saw her, Soos, and Stan talking.

"-But Dipper told us that he hasn't seen Mabel?" My cue to leave this place.

I backed up slowly and bumped into something. I turned around to see if I could catch it or apologize.

"Where are you going young cub?" The Multibear, my friend.

"You need to leave this place. It's not safe." I tried to usher him outside.

"But there is a protective field on the sh-"

"Please," I looked at him in the main head's eyes. "Trust me."

With that, I decided to storm outside. I did not want to see their confused eyes or disappointed eyes when they realized what I am about to do. I stopped a bit and went back and grabbed a couple of unicorn hair. I ran to the tree line. I was out of breath by the time I got there. There were more demons and a couple of eyebats. I went up to Py.

"It's done. The force field is down and I got the documents."

"You heard him ya bunch of weirdos! Go get 'hem."

I grab Py's arm before she leaves to cause destruction, "Please. Take me back to the Fearamid." I gave her the puppy eye look.

Then there was a flash of light.

"My, my! Pinetree, you sure have been busy. But I can not believe you would cause destruction without me!" Bill pretended to tear up.

"I just wanted to get Ford's documents on the Gravity Fall's barrier. This just happened to happen. By any chance can you get me back to the Fearamid, please? I want to work on solving this mystery."

"Alrighty but Imma watch this chaos happen so have fun!" With a snap of his fingers, I got teleported to my room. I felt a bit drowsy and stumbled a little on my way to my bed. I lay there for a second for it to go away. Then I started to work.
