Caitlin entered the police station and gulped. It was huge. How the hell was she supposed to find Barry? She was determined to distance herself from him, as he was getting too close to her and she couldn't let that happen. She had made a promise to herself when she had moved here. She was angry at Barry, how had he easily managed to do what he did, but more importantly she was angry at herself, how had she allowed this to happen? What had happened to her promises, her determination? She was so lost in thought she didn't hear someone calling her

"Miss, are you ok?"

Caitlin shook her head to bring herself back to reality. In front of her stood a police officer with a worried expression on his face

"I'm fine. I'm sorry I just dazed out for a bit"

"Can I help you?"

"I'm looking for Barry. I need to return his jacket"

"You know Barry?"

"Sort off. It's complicated"

"Your right. He's a complicated bloke"

"Ok, so where can I find him?"

"Oh sorry, I got off track. Up the stairs, first door on your right"

Caitlin thanked him, and went upstairs. She took a deep breath as she knocked on the door

"Come in"

Caitlin entered the room and gasped. It was such a mess. How on earth did Barry manage to work in this mess? How did he find anything?

"Latte, this is a nice surprise. To what do I owe the pleasure?"

"I erm here" said Caitlin, handing back the jacket

"I said keep it. It's my reason to see you again"

"No, it's ok. I don't feel right keeping it"

Caitlin turned around and scurried to the door

"Wait latte" said Barry, as he hurried over to the door and locked it

"What did you do that for?"

"We need to talk"

"And you had to lock the door for that?"

"Yes, because every time I try and talk to you, you run away. Well now you can't"

"What do you want?"

"What do you want from me?"

"Huh?"

"You heard"

"I don't want anything from you. I've never asked you for anything. I'm an independent person."

"Well then stop giving me mixed signals"

"What do you mean? I'm not"

"Yes you are. Every time I try and get close to you, you run away as if I'm the devil. Whenever I try to leave, you kiss me like your life depends on it. What do you want latte? Do you want me or not?"

"No, I don't. I don't have time for guys. Plus, your a bad guy. I stay away from bad guys"

"Have dinner with me"

"What?"

"Have dinner with me. I can prove I'm a good person"

"No"

"No? Why not?"

"Because your cocky, arrogant, full of yourself and drive me up the wall"

"And your a flirt, a tease and you make me want you so much, it hurts"

"I hate you"

"I hate you too"

Barry held Caitlin by the waist, as he pulled her to him, as he smashed their lips together. Caitlins arms went around Barry's neck as she kissed him back. She moaned as Barry explored her neck and body. Suddenly she pushed him away

"Really latte?"

"We don't want downstairs to know what we are up to"

Caitlin unlocked the door and ran away

"What about dinner?"

"In your dreams"

Duff duff duff. What's going to happen now? Why can't Caitlin just say yes? Until next time. As always, feedback appreciated
