Time is ruthless. She doesn't like waiting for anybody. And Fate? Sometimes,He is unnecessarily cruel.
Sometimes, he looks out of the little window in his bedroom and stares at the sky. He then wonders how Time continues on her path. Does she ever hesitate? Does she ever look back? Does she ever think about all she's destroyed?
Maybe she doesn't.
Love. What is love? What is this sweet poison which can convince anyone to do anything ? In course of time, this certain word had become painful to Ophiuchus's ears. His father had loved him. But he has also chosen vengeance over his family. His mother had loved him. But she'd chosen self-pity over him. You could stab him with a knife. That would be less painful than making him hear that you love him.
Sacrifice. Heroes are defined by sacrifice. But in the end is the sacrifice even worth it. Is losing almost everything you ever loved worth saving people, who have only ever given you hostility ? Is the sacrifice really worth it ?
Loss. What do you do when you are so overwhelmed by loss that you want to forget everything ?
He looks into those fierce pair of eyes. Copper against honey which reminds him that nobody is invincible. You don't have to be. You only ever need the courage to face your worst fears.
And in the end, it was all worth it.
