Unexpected turns of events (Techbur/TechnoSoot)

In the morning Techno woke up startled by the light being turned on but he was too tired to sit up so he just rolled over and looked to see who it was. It was one of the guards on duty of guarding his room during the morning. It was odd considering he wasn't there yesterday when he actually left.

"I apologise for disturbing your rest but I was told to wake you up and to tell you to get changed into the outfit which was laid out for you yesterday." He said politely, genuinely sounding sorry for waking him.

The pink haired male sighed and nodded. "Alright, you may leave now." He grumbled sitting up and stretching, the guard did as he was told, leaving the room and closing the door behind himself.

An annoyed groan left the pink haired males mouth as he got up off the bed, pushing himself onto his feet and staring at the outfit with a frown. 'Here we go again.' he thought to himself walking over and closing the blinds and getting changed into the outfit he was told to wear. Once it was on he walked over to a mirror and looking at his reflection with a bit of disappointment, grabbing a pink bandanna with a darker pink colour in the middle of it which had a pig nose on it so he put it on, it was one of his favorite animals and he liked to wear it to hide the scars he had under it. He hid from his nose down with the bandanna, tieing it tightly at the back.

he walked over to the table and grabbed the shiny crown, placing it on his head before he left the room, nodding at the guard who nodded back and escorted him to the main room where his mother and father sat talking to one another, he stood in front of them with his arms crossed over his chest as he waited for them to speak up.

"Good morning son, how are you feeling?" His father asked politely.

"I'm fine, what's the occasion?" he asked glancing over to see Dream at the side of the room. He furrowed his eyebrows looking over at him then back to his parents.

"Well your mother thought it would be a great idea to help you find a lover, you're getting old enough and you'll be the next in line for the throne." He explained.

"Huh? What? Why?" Techno asked resting his arms to his sides and staring at his mother with disbelief. "What if I don't want a 'lover'?" He said making quotation marks with his fingers.

His parents didn't know he was gay, and to be fair he hadn't came out to them and now definitely wouldn't be the greatest time to. Well a few years ago he came out as bi to his dad thinking that's what he was but now he realised he just didn't have any attraction to females and he wasn't ready to come out again. Dream knows since he was the first person he came out to, they were training one day with a group of other people other training and Techno would keep checking out a dude with black hair and well built. Dream kept teasing him about that ever since until he actually came out to him, the masked male was supportive and gave out as pan soon after.

"Of course, you don't need a lover but it will be better if you do to make our connections with other kingdoms stronger." The king said trying to be nice about it.

"You're old enough to get yourself a girlfriend so you will be meeting up with someone in half an hour at the gates so hurry up and get something to eat." The Queen commanded pointing in the direction of the kitchen.

Techno flinched slightly at the raise of tone in her voice and lowered his head and walking in the direction he was told to go, he felt wildly uncomfortable about the situation. He heard quick footsteps follow behind him as he entered the kitchen and rest a hand on his shoulder, he glanced over seeing Dream who gave him a sympathetic smile before taking his hand off him. His mask was raised slightly just to show the smile then he covered his face back up.

After the pink haired male grabbed a bit of bread he walked out of the kitchen and on his way out of the castle, he raised his bandanna a bit to take a bite of his food but mostly tried to keep his face hidden. He wasn't even trusted to walk to the gates by himself was the reason Dream was with him and he felt bad for having the masked male dragged along blindly without being about to disagree with anything.
