▷ Good Morning...
I walk inside the library and walked down the stairs after greeting the intelligent witch/librarian to find my favorite alchemist
"Morning sucrose~" a yawn passes my mouth right after
"Good morning. Did you sleep well? According to research, not getting a good night's sleep can have detrimental effects on your cognition and stamina" she explains, I chuckle
"Aren't you always staying up every night?" I ask teasingly
"Yeah, I know... Can't be helped I guess..." A slight hue came over her cheeks as shy smile forms on her face
▷ Good Afternoon...
It was around 2pm in the afternoon and I came across the light green haired girl and decided to check on her
"Heya! Sucro-" I was suddenly cut off when the alchemist said in panic,
"Waaaaa! No, stay back, don't come over here!"
"Oh uh ok.." I say a slight frown forming
"No, no, it's nothing personal — it's just that..this experiment is highly volatile and might cause an explosion." she clarified, in order for me to not get the wrong idea
I embarrassingly laughed and apologized
"I-It's alright, Y/N. But do warn me next time, I d-don't want to get you hurt" I smile widely at her cuteness, saluting like a soldier
"Yes Ma'am!" I say, earning a soft giggle from my alchemist
▷ Good Evening...
"Sucrose~"
Walking to her research area greeting with a simple 'Hey'. hearing my presence,
"Good evening. Please wait a moment. Experiment 905 has actually produced two light excretions, which, for clarity's sake, should be labeled No. 1033 and 1035 respectively..." she says as she finished writing the information on her notebook as I walk closer towards her
"Right, now, what did you need me for?" I wrap an arm around her shoulder bringing her slightly closer to me
"Let's get something to eat! I'm hungry~!" already getting excited from the thought of some good food, my stomach rumbled slightly
"I guess you are" She jokes
"Oh hush! now come on, to the food!" I say leading us out of the research room
▷ Goodnight...
"No need to wait up for me. Please, get some sleep." She assures me
"Something bothering you?"
"Yeah, please don't stay up so late" I say in slight concern
"Oh, don't worry about me — I'm right at the end of my experiment. I promise you I won't stay up late again..."
a few hours later..
I enter her study again, "Y/N? why aren't you asleep yet?"
"I could ask you the same thing sucrose, you need rest as well"
"I'll be over in minute I'm almost done with the research—" I cut her off softly
"You said that earlier, it's been 3 hours. It's already late~"
she sighs "Ok then, let me just writ—O-OH!" her eyes widen in shock as I lift her up from her seat
"Nope! I won't fall for that this time, you still have tomorrow for that. I need you beside me" I say carrying her to our shared bedroom, laying both of us on the soft mattress
I make myself comfortable as the alchemist shifted her position facing me
"Y-you didn't have to do that I was about to—"
"Shhhhh~ nope, go to sleep..." the words came out of my mouth softly like a whisper as sleep instantly washes over me
The young alchemist only smiled and snuggled closer to her lover after placing her glasses on the nightstand beside the bed before joining her to dreamland

Sorry for the inactivity!
I hoped you enjoyed today's update! I'm planning on making a second part because I got good ideas for some of the voice lines sucrose has
I wanted to the [fluff + no specific au requests]—that will most likely be fluff crumbs—first so I could sort out all of the requests
If you want more chapters like this or have an story plot ideas, don't hesitate to request!
For now I'll take my rest now (it's currently 1:55 am and I have classes in the morning lol)
