Dream woke up bright and early, slipping on his mask and shoes and standing in front of his new cell door.

At least the cell was cleaner. Though the maid that showed him the way here was not very nice. She had messy purple hair and looked constantly annoyed. When Dream approached her, she started cussing him out in a thick Irish accent, ignoring his protests. It took him a while to convince her he was allowed outside and just wanted to be showed to his new cell.

"Morning, sunshine," Techno drawled, walking towards him and jingling the keys in his fingers.

Dream rolled his eyes as Techno unlocked the door and led him out.  "You're going to a poor village dressed like that?" he pointed at the man, who wore a white dress shirt and leather pants, a thick velvet robe flowing behind him. His shiny, bejewelled crown was perched on his pink hair.

"Yeah," Techno replied nonchalantly.

"Aren't people gonna like, recognise you?"

"Hmm, no. Wilbur's gonna use some magic."

"Seriously? Wouldn't it be better to just wear normal clothes?"

"I like having good style, Smiley."

"Whatever," Dream followed him downstairs. "So what's our mode of transport?"

"Carriage," Techno replied, before snapping his fingers. Some servants rushed forward, helping them open the grand, oversized doors. Two white stallions galloped over, leading a purple carriage. Dream's jaw dropped.

"Holy shit," he grinned. "That's so cool,"

"Indeed," Techno acknowledged the driver. "Get in."

Dream obliged.

If the carriage ride was awkward, the walk through the village was even more awkward.

They weaved through bodies, Dream hauling Techno along to find his aunt's house. Suddenly, they stopped.

"Oh shit," Dream stared. "What's going on here?"

The crowd had parted to reveal a masked man standing there, holding something in his hand. The people around him broke into nervous chatters.

He hadn't realised he was still holding onto Techno's hand and let go. Peering over the numerous heads in attempt to see what was happening.

"Nobody move!" the man yelled. The crowd gasped in horror and shuffled back as he raised a gun into the air.

"What do you want!" a man cried.

"Nobody talk!" the criminal shouted, and the same man lowered his head meekly. "I want all of you to get into a line, right now!" he ordered, and the people frantically scuttled about, trying to get themselves into order.

"Dream?" someone patted his shoulder. Dream spun around to see Sapnap and George.

"George! Sapnap!"

"Dream, where were you yesterday? You were at the potato stall then you suddenly just vanished!" Sapnap yelled over the noise.

"So you were following me!"

"That's not the point! Look, what the hell do we do now! And who's this guy?" Sapnap pointed at Techno, squinting.

"Uh," Dream looked at the man. "Well-"

"Wait," George peered at Techno. "You look like..." he gasped."T-technoblade?"

"You said you used magic!" Dream accused.
