Rachel's house

Tom had to stop by Maddie's sister's house in hopes that Maddie could hopefully fix Sonic's injuries

Y/N- you sure that mom can help him

Tom- that's what I'm hoping for *knocks on the door*

Rachel- *answers* no no no, not today, goodbye

Y/N- Rachel please let us in

Maddie- Tom, Y/N? Let them in Rachel

Rachel- I am calling the police, I am calling the FBI

Maddie- ok got it

Tom- Maddie can we just talk

Maddie- what's going on, you're all over the news, I've trying to call you

Tom- I ditched my phone so they couldn't track me

Jojo- uncle Tommy!

Tom- Jojo *hugs her*

Y/N- hey there Jojo

Rachel- now your niece is an accessory to treason

Maddie- would you calm down

Rachel- I will not calm down!

Ozzie started barking at the cloth that was covering Sonic

Rachel- what is that Tom

Tom- just please can we just go in other room

Rachel- this is why I told you he was no good

Ozzie grabs the cloth and starts pulling at it

Y/N- no Ozzie stop

He rips the cloth off of Sonic, much to Rachel and Maddie's shock

Rachel- catch me Jojo *faints*

Tom brings him into the kitchen so he could have medical attention

Tom- is he gonna be ok

Maddie- I'm a vet Tom, I don't even know what I'm looking at

Tom- he's a hedgehog...or so he says

Maddie- it talks?

Tom- almost constantly

She checks his pulse and finds it to be incredibly fast

Maddie- his pulse is super fast

Tom- that might actually be normal for him, you got to help him Maddie

Maddie- I don't even know what his physiology is. He doesn't seem to have any broken bones, he's just really banged up

Y/N- you can help him, right mom

Maddie- I'll do my best sweetheart. Look at his little feet

Tom- hang in there buddy, you'll be alright

Jojo went upstairs to her room while Rachel was tied up

Rachel- Jojo untie your mother

Tom- he's gonna be ok right, like he'll just snap out of it. Smelling salts, don't you have like smelling salts for cats

Maddie- they don't make cat smelling salts, I have human smelling salts in my human first aid kit

With one sniff on the salt, Sonic instantly woke up

Sonic- gotta go fast!

He rushes around the kitchen, creating a mess in the process

Sonic- where am I, what year is it, is the rock president

Y/N- uh what

Tom- you're okay, calm down

Sonic- oh hi pretzel lady

Maddie- hi? Tom, can I talk to you please, space hedgehog stay there, try to rest. Y/ N, why don't you stay with him

Sonic- you got it, I am great at resting

Tom- still talking

Maddie- first of all can we take a moment to acknowledge how under control I've been, didn't freak out, totally calm

Tom- thank you

Maddie- second of all *whispers yells* what the heck is going on, is that thing an alien?!

Tom- you know how crazy Carl is always going on about the blue devil

Maddie- the blue devil, it's him. What's he doing here, what are you doing here

Tom- kind of shot our blue friend with your tranq gun

Maddie- no you didn't

Tom- I didn't mean to, this is kind of hard for me to explain and it's gonna sound a little bit crazy but he has to get to the Transamerica building and I promised I'd take him

Rachel- Maddie, your husband's lost his mind, use this as an opportunity to leave him

Jojo came back downstairs from her room with a pair of shoes

Y/N- what do you have there Jojo

Jojo- so you won't hurt your feet anymore

Sonic- really, no one's ever given me a gift before, I gotta check that off my bucket list

Y/N- aww that's so nice of you

Sonic- *puts on the shoes* all right, looking good

Y/N- I think they really suit you

Sonic- thanks Y/N

Maddie- ok so you said you wanted to help people in real trouble right, well that's what you're doing. Blue alien hedgehogs still count as people right

Tom- I think so too, I love you, did I tell you that already

Sonic- *staring at Ozzie* so...you're supposed to be Tom's best friend that he won't shut up about. Well I don't see the appeal

Ozzie proceeds to then lick Sonic all over his face

Sonic- stop it, that is very gross

Y/N- I think he likes you

Tom- so my truck still runs but it's totaled, you think your sister would mind if we borrowed her car

Rachel- you have got to be kidding me

Y/N- wait are we gonna leave her tied up

Maddie- she'll be fine

Rachel- THIS IS MY HOUSE!

Meanwhile in Robotnik's lab, he was busy analyzing Sonic's quill while listening to some tunes

That was until he was interrupted by Agent Stone

Stone- I just thought you might like a latte with steamed Austrian goat milk

Robotnik- what do I look like an imbecile, of course I want a latte. I LOVE THE WAY YOU MAKE THEM!

Sonic's quill had finished analyzing and Robotnik was stunned with how much power he gained from it

Robotnik- ready the prototype, with this kind of power, my machines can finally reach their full potential
