"Are you sure all of these people are going to fit into the fucking club?" Jace says with wide eyes, as we arrive in front of the beautiful venue. I've been looking forward to this day so much. The Jeremy Zucker concert. The butterflies in my stomach are going crazy when I think about tonight. The typical concert feeling hits me, as soon as I see the gigantic line that's already formed.
"They will. It always looks this crazy" I answer chuckling, as we stand behind the last people in line.
"Why the fuck are we here at six anyway? It says the concert starts at seven. It's going to take forever to get in" Jace growls again holding the tickets in his hands, slightly annoyed at the fact that he'll have to wait.
"Oh shush. It's part of the concert experience. When I was younger I used to wait in line for hours with my friends, just so we could stand front row" I say with a smile on my face, when I think back to those times. "Besides, the doors open at six. It won't be that long" I reassure him.
"Alright alright. I said I'd give it a shot, I'll cheer up" Jace says wrapping his arms around me from behind. "So, what's this guy's music like?"
I'd be extremely uncomfortable if Jace hugged me like this in public on campus, because I know everyone would be staring. It's refreshing not having to worry about it here in Downtown Seattle, no one really knows Jace in this place. Nevertheless, I feel the stares of some girls when they see him. I don't blame them, he's only the most handsome guy that's ever walked this earth. No big deal.
I have to chuckle at Jace's question. "You really haven't given one song a try?" I say, turning my head to look up at him. He looks into my eyes, only smirking innocently at my words. I sigh jokingly. "I've played him in your car a few times. You'll know" I say, just when the doors open and they start to let people into the venue.
My heart picks up its pace another time. Deep down I could jump into the air from all the happiness. I can't help but let out a little squeal, making Jace laugh at me. "You're unbelievable" he jokes.
