Today was Soraya's first time going back to work in a long time.
Soraya was not the one to go on breaks and she'd used up all her holidays in the span of two months and she'd been working two years.
She didn't know how she felt about that but she knew she didn't really regret it.
Although she did miss the kids a great deal and sitting at the table with them proved that.
"T-the other one, J-J'elle, she was boring." Gianni complained.
"Yeah we missed you so's much," Adelina huffed. "like this's much." she stretched her arms out to show the amount.
"I didn't wanna come daycare." Soavi pouted, "wasn't the same."
"oh no well i'm back now, why don't we do some finger painting to get back in the mood guys?"
Gianni smiled at how Soraya had changed, she didn't fully understand stuff but she could see Soraya's glow radiating off of her and how happy she seemed.
She was happy for the caretaker, unbelievably very happy.
"Raya it's my birthday in a month!" Gianni exclaimed excited.
"M-mines sooner," Acacia smiled giddily, "mines in a week."
Soraya nibbled on her bottom lip worried. Her and Hezekiah had just booked their tickets to Mississauga which is where Anais lives.
They were going for a four day visit from friday night to monday morning, which had been discussed with Kayson.
Professionally Kayson didn't approve of how much she was missing out on work but as a confidante Kayson was proud she was getting out of her shell, in their mini catch up meeting Soraya had informed him of her boyfriend and whose older brother he was.
It was her first time telling someone - apart from her therapist - about her relationship status and who had changed it.
She wanted to scream at the world and tell everybody about her boyfriend because that is how unbelievably ecstatic she truly was.
"That's so exciting guys, Gianni you're going to be six!" Soraya announced enthusiastically, "and Acacia you'll be five finally!"
