im literally spoiling you guys with chapters today🧍🏻‍♀️but that's cause my parents are actually home today and I hate having to talk to them 😹

hawks: oh great you guys are here! perfect timing! we're taking everyone fingerprints so go ahead and line up right over there.

you nervously said

hawks: everything alright? you seem a bit nervous
y/n: do I? i must still be shaking from meeting bakugos parents

you laughed

hawks: ooo! you finally met them! how did it go!
y/n: pretty awkward but overall I think it was fine
hawks: has he met yours?
y/n: yup
hawks: wooow! congrats! you two are getting pretty serious huh..
bakugo: we sure are.

they both glared at eachother and you awkwardly stood there forcing a smile

y/n: okaaayyy then! we're just gonna go line up
hawks: you go do that

bakugo grabbed your hand and dragged you towards the line where todoroki was. you eyed todoroki and he looked nervous as hell, he was a few people ahead of you and he texted you

todoroki: this isn't good, please tell me you have some sort of plan, y/n.

plan, there WAS no plan. there was no way out of this, absolutely no way out. bakugo grabbed your face

bakugo: hey calm down, you'll be fine

you forced a smile and nodded. after a while of people getting theirs done it was finally your turn.

police: next.

you clenched you jaw and gulped. you sat down and they bagan taking your fingerprints, he looked at the screen and then slowly looked back at you. you softly smiled and he wrote something down on his computer.

police: says here you're ordered to go back to your dorm now, no exceptions. alright that's all, next.

you stood up and your knees were shaking and you felt like you were going to faint. you got a text so you pulled out your phone, it was todoroki. "roof." you walked back to your dorm and locked the door behind you. you put a hoodie on and you teleported to the roof to see todoroki sitting on the edge with his hands together, hunched over, and his head hanging low. you walked over to him and sat down looking over the city with your legs dangling off the building

todoroki: ..what's going to happen now..
y/n: ..I dont know
todoroki: what are we going to do..
y/n: I don't... know
todoroki: y/n I-

his voice cracked and he sighed loudly. his voice cracking broke your heart

todoroki: I cant lose you...

you bit your bottom lip and it quivered as you shut your eyes tightly.

y/n: there's no escaping this, shoto. the truth was bound to come out sooner or later... I did what I did and I can't take it back.

he looked over at you and hugged you tightly and cried into your shoulder

todoroki: I don't want to lose you.. I don't want to... I cant!

you started sobbing into his shoulder and hugging each other

y/n: promise me one thing...

you grabbed his face and cupped it so he would look at you

y/n: promise me..
todoroki: stop it..

you both couldn't talk due to the sobs

y/n: promise me you'll become one of the top heros just like we talked about when we were younger

he cried even harder

y/n: and make sure
todoroki: stop it! please!
y/n: make sure you save every life that you can. I became the one thing I swore to destroy, and I can't let that destroy your future

his face smushed into your hands and you felt his warm tears on your skin. he was hurting, the type of cry you get little uncontrollable gasps from.

todoroki: I cant live without you y/n! don't you understand! I love you! you're my best friend, my everything and you promised you wouldn't leave me!

he grabbed his chest and cried

todoroki: you promised! you promised me! we planned our whole future together, do you know how hard it is to just restart! we were supposed to grow old together, have kids that eventually became best friends! just like us! I cant be who I want to be without you!
y/n: you can still be who you want to be, shoto-
todoroki: no, I cant!

you looked in his eyes, and you saw it. you saw the pain in his eyes. the type of pain you hadn't seen in years.

todoroki: let's run away. let's run far away a-and never look back I-
y/n: no..
todoroki: we can change our identities a-and start over-
y/n: no, shoto-
todoroki: please!

you wiped your tears and looked at the city lights

y/n: I cant run away anymore, shoto. i am unhappy, not with life.. but with this feeling. this horrible feeling that is going to kill me.. this is how it's supposed to be. you need to be a hero, and I know that if we run away you'll regret it.
todoroki: I won't!
y/n: yes, you will. deep down you'll regret it, and I cant let that happen. I cant stop you from pursuing and living out your dreams
todoroki: but my dreams involve you! it was our dream to become hero's together, y/n!
y/n: ...please don't make this harder than it already is, shoto.

he buried his head in your chest and cried. cried like never before, and you were silently crying with your head resting on top of his.

todoroki: I love you..
y/n: I love you too..

you teleported to his dorm and left him there

y/n: achieve all of your dreams, for me.

his mouth quivered and he stuck his hand out but you teleported to your room and sat on the ground crying knowing you would have to leave everything and everyone you love behind.

you woke up the next morning with red puffy eyes. you weakly got up and put your uniform on. you finished getting ready in the bathroom and went back to your dorm. you looked in the mirror and saw all the pictures of you and your friends. you put your shoes on ready to go to class, knowing it was your last day. but you didn't know it would be at that exact moment. there was a knock on your door and you opened it to FBI agents, and the police pointing their guns at you.
