If Clay did hear, he didn't make it obvious.
He was quite quiet though, Nick did most of the talking, complaining about teachers or lessons. George was sitting on his bed while Nick and Clay where sitting on Clays bed.
Then Nick had to go. He waved goodbye and they closed the apartment door.
"That was fun, wasn't it?" Clay lay down on his bed, gazing at the ceiling.
"Yeah...it was..."
Clay suddenly sat up, legs crossed. He had a big smile on his face.
"Well its not over yet," he grinned.
"Hm?"
"I wanna show you something!" he got up and started putting his shoes on.
"W-Clay? Where do you want to go at this time? It's...it's almost midnight!"
"Just put your shoes on."
"Alright?"
George was very confused, but he still put his shoes on anyway.
"Come on!" Clay smiled as he took Georges hand in his.
He pulled the smaller boy out of the apartment and out into the cold night.
"Where are we actually going Clay?" George asked, letting himself get pulled by the taller boy.
"Its a surprise." he answered simply.
They slowed down a bit, at a normal walking pace now. George felt Clays intertwine with his own, filling him with warmth. His soft touch made Georges whole body go numb with comfort.
"In here," Clay gestured to the main college building.
"Really? Are you gonna give me secret midnight lessons or something?" they both laughed.
"Sh! We don't wanna get caught!" Clay whispered, trying to stop himself from giggling.
"Wait we're not allowed to do this?"
"No of course not!" Clay pulled George up the stairs and though corridors. George loved the thrill of it, they could get caught any moment now, hand in hand, going on a surprise trip.
They half-ran up lots, and lots of stairs. George was getting out of breath when the finally got to the top.
It was pitch black, all George could see was Clay's soft outline next to his.
"OK, close your eyes..." Clay told George quietly.
"O-ok..."
George closed his eyes and felt Clay gently guid him in the right direction. He heard a door being opened as he slowly walked through it, eyes tightly shut.
"Look up and open your eyes now," Clay almost whispered.
George slowly tilted his head up and opened his eyes.
They were greeted by millions or billions of twinkling stars. Covering the night sky like freckles. The deep, dark blue behind them made each and every one of them look magical, dots of mysterious light shining from balloons of light years away. He could see all of them without any distractions in his peripheral vision, because they were so high up.
The sight was beautiful.
"W-wow..."
"Do you like it?"
"Its...beautiful..." George couldn't take his eyes away from the pretty painting of constellations.
They lay down on the college roof, taking in all the pretty lights. Clay's hand was resting next to Georges, an inch away. He gingerly moved his finger over Georges, stroking his hand gently. George froze his gaze on the stars, not daring to look at the blonde. His touch sent butterflies all around his small body, it was overwhelming.
he slowly relaxed at the sensation of Clays skin brush against his own, engulfing him in a pleasant feeling.
After a few moments, Clay broke the silence.
"Hey, George?" he started, as he slowly got up from the ground and offered a hand out to George, who took it and pulled himself up.
Clay took a step closer to George, taking both his porcelain hands in his.
George looked into Clays shining eyes. They were as beautiful as all the stars in the sky.
"Could you close your eyes again?"
"Why?"
"Please, I promise I won't do anything. I would never let anything bad happen to you..."
This comment made George warm up inside.
"Ok.." he closed his eyes again.
He felt Clay get closer, he could feel his heart beat increasing extremely fast.
Clay whispered "Do you trust me?" into Georges ear, his breath lingering on Georges skin, sending tingles all over his body.
"yes"
Clay smoothly took Georges chin in his hand, cupping his jaw softly. Breath heavy, George's heart was about to melt under Clays hot touch. Clay put his other hand around Georges waist, pulling him against him, chests touching. With Georges eyes still shut, Clay slowly inclined his own jaw towards the smaller boys, George felt Clays pleasant breath against his lips. The movements happened like a blur, a smooth blur. Clay place his loving lips against Georges, taking in his sweet, sweet scent. George kissed back, making a soft sound of comfort. Their kiss burned brighter than all the stars in the sky above them combined. Clay broke the kiss to breath, but for his breath to be immediately taken away by how beautiful the boy in front of him was. The moonlight reflected against his glistening eyes.
George took Clays shirt in his hand and pulled him back into a kiss. This shocked Clay but he didn't hesitate to kiss back deeply, they melted into each other. Passionate kisses rained down upon of each of them. Both happy, extremely happy. They broke the kiss at the same time and caught their breath back.
"George...will you be my...will you be my boyfriend?"
"Yes!"
They smiled at each other and Clay pulled him into a warm embrace.

The next morning George woke up in panic.
Was it all a dream? Please tell me it wasn't just a dream...please! It was a dream...
His thoughts were quickly proved wrong as hd became of the sleeping boy next to him. Their arms wrapped around each other lovingly.
George sighed in relief.
He cuddled closer to his boyfriend, and smiled.
