Tom's POV
It's been a month at least since me and Tord had gotten together. Yes, we got together.
Don't think about that too much.

It seems like nothing has changed around the house. Edd and Matt hasn't expected that we're dating yet, even if Edd did seem suspicious of us. I guess they still see us as friends.
I don't know how they haven't caught up yet, but it's a good thing that they haven't.
The less they know the better.

But with me and Tord however, we've grown closer together.
Surprising, right?
It's interesting how two enemies could turn out being lovers in the end.

Edd's POV
Something fishy is going on here. And it's not actually the smell of fish, it's Tom and Tord.
They've started to become closer with one another, but at the same time I can't tell. They haven't announced their dating or anything, so I can't tell if it's a secret or not. I'll just assume their up to something for now. They've got to be up to something.
I would turn a blind eye on them, since I didn't know how to expect them to be friends or something more.

Earlier today at breakfast, Tom and Tord were sitting next to each other like usually.

"Can I have more bacon?" Tord asked
I nodded, putting another piece of bacon on his plate. Today I cooked bacon, because why not at this point. Bacon is godly.
"God Tord, can you ever get enough bacon?" Tom joked.

"Nope. Never." Tord laughed, taking a bite of the piece of bacon.

They laughed for a moment, completely oblivious that me and Matt were giving them a weird look.
Tord stood up once his plate was empty, declaring that he had to go somewhere.
Tom was quick to announce he had to be somewhere as well, and they both left out the front door.
Very suspicious.
They have been doing this for a month now, where they just sneak out of the house out of nowhere. Me and Matt are just used to it by now.

Tord's POV
After me and Tom had rushed out of the house, we decided to go to the arcade to hang out.
"I can't believe that worked, like always." Tom smiled

"Yeah, I'm surprised they haven't questioned us yet."
"Do you think they know about us?"

I shook my head. "Probably not if they're not asking about it."

"Yeah, your right. They haven't said anything about it yet. When are we going to tell them?" Tom asked

"They can find out by themselves, it's not their business anyways." I hummed.

"I guess." Tom shrugged.

Soon enough, we found our way into the arcade. It wasn't that crowded, which it usually was since it was a Saturday.
The only few people there were a few kids and teens, and of course the people who worked there.
I bought a few tokens for me and Tom so we could play some games together, in which we did.
We played a shooting game together and a few other games on our own.
After we played a few games, we went to the food court and ordered lunch.

Pretty basic stuff.

After we ate we had decided to go home, since Edd probably expected us back home by now.

When we got back to the house, however,, we were not wrong. Edd was waiting for us on the couch.
Me and Tom looked at each other, expecting the worst. A lecture.
We sat on the couch across from him, because Edd had a look on his face that said 'we need to talk now.'
Edd didn't say anything for a quick minute, which made the situation even more awkward then it already was.

"Where were you guys?" Edd asked out of nowhere.

Me and Tom glanced at each other for a second before glancing back at Edd.
"We were at the arcade." I spoke.

"I thought you both were going somewhere different?" Edd raised his eyebrow.

"It was an accident- we bumped into each other-" Tom tried to finish.

"So you bump into each other every time? Guys, just admit that your together already." Edd facepalmed.

There was no point in denying the truth.
"Yes, Fine, we're together." I sighed.

"Thank god you finally will admit it, I'm glad that's over with."
"Your not angry we didn't tell you or anything?" I raised my eyebrow, surprised.

Usually when I don't tell Edd something he gets mad at me for keeping secrets against him. This is why he's the parent of the group.
"Well, I sort of expected this. But I'm not happy that you didn't tell me sooner." Edd hummed.

I sighed in relief, thinking that was all Edd had to say. I was wrong, he wasn't finished speaking.
"I'm happy for you both, but there's something else." Edd started.

"What is it?" Tom asked.

"You two have barely done anything around the house and the bill has been increasing recently. The only one with a job in this house is me, and being an art commissioner isn't a high paying job. I get at most $50 each drawing, and that's no where close to enough money for the bill. You two need to get jobs or move out." Edd explained.

"What about Matt? He doesn't do anything either!" I argued.

"He cleans up for me sometimes, and I talked to him earlier about getting a job. It's up to you two to get one."
"What if we can't find one?" Tom asked.
"Your going to have to move out then." Edd sighed. "If you don't start helping out with the bill, I'll have no choice but to kick you out. I'm sorry guys."

I sighed, thinking about what Edd had said. Besides the army, I couldn't find any other jobs. This had to be another problem.
By the look on Tom's face, I knew he was thinking the same thing.
We had no idea what we were going to do.
"We will think about what you said, just give us a week." I spoke up.
Edd nodded. "You have one week to find a job."

Well, it looks like this was going to be a bigger problem then it seemed to be.

Finally, after a few days I finished that chapter. Sorry for the delay! I was running out of ideas, and needed to turn the story into a different plot. The rest will follow soon after :)
