i let out a loud laugh as i looked up from my phone.
"what are you laughing at?" nick asks, smiling at me.
"someone on my instagram," i took a second to catch my breath from the laugher. "acted like, they found out about you through me, and called you snipsnip," i said, continuing to laugh.
he rolled his eyes and continued to search the kicthen for food.
i threw my head back on the couch and let out a frustrated groan, which was really more of a yell.
"you good over there?" nick says, his mouth full of cereal.
"no. your friend is such an asshole," i said, staring at the ceiling.
"who? clay?"
"who the fuck is clay," i said, emphasizing the 'clay'.
"oh- dream, clay is his real name."
i let out a giggle. "clay? wow, thanks for telling me that. i now have another thing to make fun of him for,"
nick rolled his eyes at me and re-directed his eyes back to the tv.
"alright, im a bit tired, im gonna head to bed. feel free to change the show," i said, gesturing towards nick as i got up from the couch.
he grabbed the remote, "g'night, love ya!"
"love you too," i said, closing my door behind me.
i plugged my phone in and flopped onto my bed, allowing my eyes to shut as i drift off.

"goodmorning spencer!" a voice shouted, along with the sound of my door hitting my wall.
"what the fuck do you want," i mumbled into my pillow.
"you have your art project due today? you werent awake so id figure id wake you up incase you had any last minute fixes you needed to do," he said, pulling my blanket off of me.
"oh- shit, your right, thank you." i said, slowly sitting up.
"yeah, no issue. ill be streaming if you need me!" he said, walking out of my room.
i slugged my way over to my desk and grabbed my paper. on it was a drawing of my brother i had done for my art class. i was majoring in graphic design, but i had also chosen to take a realism art class.
i plan to switch majors next year to become an art and art studies major. ive always loved drawing, even when i was younger and couldnt draw.
i examined the piece of art. "hmmm,"
'i think this is good,' i thought, putting it back in its folder.
i didnt take any in-person classes, but i still lived fairly close to campus, so i figured id turn in my paper in person, since i had to go to the store anyway.
i walked out of my room and down the hall to nicks room.
"hello?" i knocked, but received no response.
i cracked the door open and peeked into his room.
"spence?" he said, turning his head to me.
"hi! im going to the store, text me if you need anything!" i whispered.
he gave me a quick smile and thumbs up before returning his focus to his stream.
i quietly closed his door, and headed out of the house.
