Bella POV
Everyone was in the living room watching the giant screen, I had my head on Bucky's thigh as he petted my gently with his flesh hand,
I felt at home with him, Like I did with Luke, Luke... I couldn't save him, I tried, I really tried but not even I could anticipate a betrayal in the unit, I thought as I shifted my head in Bucky's lap,
"She really is attached to your hip isn't she?" I heard
I see Nat sit in-between Bucky and Steve
I close my eyes as Bucky starts rubbing my ears,
"Yeah, she's been helping a lot with the nightmares," Bucky said
"Really no nightmares?" Steve said
"None, not since she sneaks in the bed with me," Bucky said
"Aww didn't take you as the cuddle type," Sam said
I opened my eyes when he stopped,
He chuckled
Then I heard a loud bang it sounded like a bomb, it reminded me of my job and I bolted towards the sound,
"Bella!" I heard Bucky
I ran straight into the place where Tony normally is and see smoke every where I army crawl to Tony and grab his pant leg and drag him out of the smoke, into the hallway, Tony just laid there in a daze
"Tony what the hell!" Bruce said
"Sorry kinda went over board," Tony said
Bucky and everyone came running down the hallway,
"What the hell happened?" Sam said
"Too much of one chemical," Tony said
"Have to say Barnes this dog of yours keeps on surprising me," Tony said sitting up petting my head,
"What do you mean?" Steve said
"Well for starters she fetches any tool I ask her to get, then she just dragged me out of the smoke in the lab," Tony said standing up,
"Well she was trained for it," Bucky said
"What do you mean?" Nat asked
"She was a military service dog," Bucky said petting my head,
"What happened because obviously they didn't have her up for adoption for no reason," Tony said
"Her handler was killed well betrayed in the line of duty, they claimed her unfit," Bucky said
Luke... I whined involuntary
Bucky just petted my head,
"Damn," Tony said
"Come on Bella it's time for your walk," Bucky said I followed him,
"I'll come with," Steve said
