I walk up feeling groggy. Once I'm awake I try to move my hand but it's handcuffed to the bed. I pull at it at one go and it breaks.
The nurse that comes in eyes widen. Then they looked determined. "You cannot go."
She extends her legs and arms so she's hugging the entrance. I get out of the bed in the hospital robs and shove her as gently as possible out of the way.
"Code white" she says into her coms. I sprint toward the labor section. I see tony and pepper waiting outside a long with Natasha.
I run toward them frantically. "Where the hell is my wife?"
"Captain you need to relax" I see Rhodes is here too.
"I don't give a damn" I snap. "Where is my wife"
"She's in the delivery room" Natasha replies. "She's pushing"
"I need to go in" I say determined before she can stop me. I open the door and see my wife is pushing my son. I walk over to her and grab her hand while she yells curses from her lips.
"God damn you Steve" she yell struggling.
"You can do it baby" I say kissing her head.
"I found him!" The nurse that was chasing me says. Her eyes soften at the sight of what I was running for.
"Oh?" She says nervously. "I suppose that's fine but back to bed immediately"
Mag gives one last push and I hear a cry. My eyes well up in tears. Mag looks tired.
"You did it baby" I coo wiping her sweaty hair back. It frames her face with the stickiness.
"Would you like to cut the cord?" The doctor asks. I nod grabbing the medical scissors and cutting it.
The doctor wrap my son in a blanket. He really is crying hard. He hands me my son and I hold him for the first time. A tear trickles down my cheek.
I hear Mag grunt I quickly avert my attention toward her.
Why is she pushing again? The doctors eyes widen.
"There's a second baby" the doctor says shocked. My eyes widen as I hold my son to my chest. Then I realize something, this isn't a son, it's a daughter.
I go over to Mag and hold her hand once again but this time with my daughter in the other arm.
Another cry pierced throughout the room and I look at the baby. One of the nurses take Sarah from me and I go over to what I hope is James.
"Congratulations Mr and Mrs. Rogers twins" the doctor says. "A girl and a boy"
I cut his cord and hold him like I did with little Sarah. He cries as loud if not more than Sarah.
Mag just slumps now really tiredly. I walk over to her and kiss her crown of her head. "You did amazing sweetie. Thank you"
"You owe me bish" she says smiling. "Can I hold him?"
I lay down James on her shoulder. While a nurse Hands me Sarah. "I can't believe James took all the spotlight"
"He takes after his mother" I say smirking. She beams a cute smile my way.
"Captain, sir um..can you wait outside while we transfer them?" A nurse asks I nod kissing my family each on their heads and exiting out.
I'm attacked by questions. "What happened?"
"I'm officially a father and husband of a family of four" I say still shocked but content.
"WHAT?" Natasha says shocked.
"We were having twins" I say happy. "A girl and a boy"
"What the hell man" tony says confused too. "Well good for you"
"Thanks" I reply. My wife and kids are all getting taken care off.

"Sarah Sweet Caroline Rogers" I say to the lady printing the birth certificates.
"James Agent Phill Rogers" I say Mag told me to name Sarah after the tune in the car she listened to before going into labor.
And she named James after her uncle Phill. But wanted agent as part of the middle name. And I had no say in in because I took the first names.
Apparently, the word agent has a lot of meanings to her and she wanted to include agent in the name separately from phill.
Mag had way to much fun in the middle name department.
"So why agent and sweet Caroline?" I ask rocking Sarah back and forth. James is sleeping in Mags arms.
"Oh I was listening to sweet Caroline in the car when" she makes a plop sound.
"Agent, well we know a lot of agents" she says smiling. The other hurry into the room.
"Where is he?" Tony says looking around and spots James blue blanket. He grabs him out of Mags arms and open the blanket peaking inside.
"I hate to admit it you and cap have nice babies" tony says scoffing.
"If you implant my kiddo with a chip I'll let Morgan kill you" Mag says narrowing her eyes.
"Psh as if" tony says not taking his gaze from James. He looks at Sarah in my arms.
"Is that the new one?" Tony asks.
"Yeah latest model" Mag says reaching over and grabbing some cheese itz.
Natasha takes her from me and smiles. "What are they're names?"
"James and Sarah" I reply.
"Hi Sarah" tony coos at James.
"Motherfucker, that's James" Mag scolds. I narrow my eyes at her language.
"Sorry babe" she says defensively.
