James Potter knew everything about love.

At least he thought he did.

He knew his mother and father loved each other, not nearly as much as he loved Lily though.

He knew that he loved messing with Snivellus.

And he definitely knew that Remus and Annabeth loved each other.

" Alright lads, let's head to breakfast" clapped Sirius

The group all nodded and headed out of the dorm but James stopped Annabeth.

" So, Annabeth" said James " what do you think about Remus?"

" I think he's very nice" said the girl awkwardly

" Anything else?" questioned the boy

" Um.. he's quite funny. Very charming, oh and those eyes. Merlin those eyes.." Annabeth trailed off, losing her focus

" Thanks, that's all I needed" smirked James

Annabeth gave the boy a questioning looked but dropped the subject, not even wanting to know.

The group arrived at breakfast as sat in there usual spots.

Remus next to Annabeth

Annabeth grabbed a waffle, apple, and some pumpkin juice then dug in

She was always a breakfast person, especially when her sister Molly was the one cooking it.

Molly.

" Remus! Oh, you'll just love the food Molly makes!" exclaimed Annabeth

Annabeth loved her sister to death and would gladly boast about her

" I'm sure I will" laughed Remus, wiping a crump off Annabeth's lip

Annabeth's face got hot as she felt his cool fingers against her lips

Remus was too caught up in the moment to realize what he had just done, it felt so natural.

Sam cleared his throat, having watched the whole encounter.

" You will love it, especially her WAP" said Sam

" WAP?" asked James

" Waffles and Pancakes... duh" said Sam as he rolled his eyes

Annabeth continued to eat her food as the heat of her cheeks didn't seem to fade.

The Marauders were engaged in a heated debate about which animal was the best.

" Obviously a stag is the best! They're so majestic!"

" Oh come on, everyone loves dogs"

" Rats are pretty cool"

Annabeth couldn't even tell who was saying what as they all spoke over each other. But she did notice that the only one not giving his input was Remus.

" What? You're not going to defend why dolphins are the best?" asked Annabeth

" What's a dolphin..?" questioned Remus, confusion on his face

Annabeth bursted out laughing

" A muggle animal. I read about it in a book last summer" replied the girl with a smile.

Her smile.

Her smile was what captured Remus

The way the little gap in-between her front two looked perfectly placed.
