When I turn around my mouth dropped. Will was here, clay was next to him, everyone else was inside.The distant counting could be heard from the tv. 5....4...Will walked closer to me and wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled us closer. 3...2..he placed a hand on my cheek and I looked into his eyes and smiled.1..he leaned in and kissed me. I melted into the kiss, I missed him so much. He pulled away and we were both smiling
Will: happy new year Mads
Mads: happy new year
I looked over to the entrance of the balcony and saw everyone else walking in. So that's why they weren't replying to my texts
Indie: cheeky motherfuckers
Mads: so that's why you guys weren't answering our texts
Niki: I wanted to reply to you! But they told me I couldn't, I'm sorry!
Mads: it's fine don't worry! But now that you are here, enjoy the fire works
We all spread out along the balcony and watched the harbour bridge light up with fire works

(TW: fireworks, loud noises, flashing lights)
Also I would recommend watching this video but if you don't wanna watch the whole 12 minutes video, I recommend watching like the first minutes of the video and the last five minutes of the video

We all walked back inside and took a seat. I took a sip of my drink and nick looked so scared. Indie did the same and George looked scared too
George: what the fuck are you doing?
Mads: George, we can legally drink here y'know
Nick: oh I had a heart attack
Indie: that means everyone but Tommy and Toby can drink
Tommy: no fair
Mads: you wanna drink tommy?
Tommy: yeah! I'm no pussy I can drink
Toby: I mean one more year and Tommy and I both will come over here to drink (Tommy and tubbo are both 17 in this story)
Mads: yeahh
Nick: bet imma go drink
George: oh god I'll go take care of the kid
Will: okay
Sarah: I'm excited to look around!
Mads: indie and I will be your tour guides to the land down under
Indie: I still can't believe you guys are here
Clay: surpriseee
Mads: wait where are your suitcases?
Toby: at your house!
Indie: oh your fucking brother and ilsa had something to do with this for sure
Mads: yeah! Oh shit, we need to keep them awayyyy from Kath, Tessa, Liz and grace

Tommy: bruh it's literally 12:30am in the fucking morning. WHY is it so hot?
Indie: welcome to Australia
Niki: now we can try all the snacks!

Tommy: wilburrr, do you think I could have a sip?
Will: Tommy, that's literally illegal
Clay: are you good tommy?
Nick: fuck it let him have a drink

Clay: do you want to get arrested in a foreign country?

Indie: Sarah, Niki, do any of you guys want a drink?
Niki: is there like anything light?
Mads: yeah for sure, we will get you guys something. Anything for you guys?
Will: uh I don't mind anything
Clay: I'll have a beer
Mads: ok!
Indie and I made our way to the bar and ordered drinks for everyone. We got four vodka cruisers, two beers and two glasses of coke for tommy and Tubbo
Mads: here you go
Niki: oooh this looks pretty
Sarah: yeah what the fuck
Indie: it's like 2% vodka and 98% juice, not too strong
Toby: I want that when I'm the age of drinking
Mads: you two remind me of us when we were younger
Nick: yo I could get used to Australia
Indie: it only gets easier
Mads: yeah it's pretty chill here, but y'all are gonna get stared at. More just nick and clay though
Indie: yeah
We all continued talking about the most random but entertaining shit. Clay, will, George. Sarah, Niki and nick went to look outside a bit more leaving me, indie, tommy and Toby
Tommy: madsss
Mads: yeah?
Tommy: can I please have a little bit
Mads: omg tommy
Tommy: I am turning eighteen in like four months
Indie: okay but don't tell the others
(Disclaimer! I do not indorse underage drinking, so don't do it. It's illegal. But again, what I said about people not taking it too seriously is true. But only people who are seventeen do it, so don't worry)
Tommy: yes! Toby are you gonna have some?
Toby: I'll have a little bit
Indie and I got two empty glasses and poured a little bit of the cruisers into them and then handed them to tommy and Toby. They both looked at each other before drinking
Toby: okay that didn't taste too bad but I can definitely taste the alcohol
Tommy: yeah, thank you! But imma stick to my coke
Mads: good good
George: mads, can we get ice cream?
Nick: so fucking hot
Indie: you think maccas would be open?
Mads: duh, lets go cmon
We paid for our food and the rest of them followed us towards the nearby McDonald's
Sarah: look the stars!
Everyone looked up at to the sky and let out happy laughs. We were walking and saw a two girls and two boys pass by
Girl: HAPPY NEW YEARS
Indie: HAPPY NEW YEARS
Clay: how do you guys just talk to random people
Indie: it's pretty normal for us
We continued walking until we got to the maccas
Indie: what do y'all want? Thick shakes, sundaes, mcflurries?
Nick: ooh can I have a chocolate sundae?
Everyone wanted a chocolate sundae, so I went and ordered for them, payed and waited
Will: the ice cream machine works, I bet dream and Sapnap have never seen that before
Nick: oh fuck off
Niki: does it snow here?
Mads: depends on where you are. It snows in the snowy mountains but there are also places with man made snow
Tommy: so you've never experienced like actual snow?
Indie: we aren't saying that
Our sundaes finished getting made and I took them and handed it out. We all started walking out of the maccas eating our ice cream
Mads: indie should we catch the train home?
Indie: yeah let's go
We walked to the train station and got onto a train to a station near my house
Mads: get comfy, it's kinda a long ride
We all took a seat, me next to Will. I rested my head on his shoulder while I ate my ice cream. We were sitting on a two person seat so we had a bit of privacy
Will: I'm so happy to see you again
Mads: I'm super happy to see you too. This is like the best thing that could've happened to me. Being surprised by my awesome boyfriend
Will: you're literally adorable
Mads: thank you baby
