The chattering of both male and female rang the forest. Both laughter and loud discussion could be heard. The black carriage with the Valentine family flag's stopping, attracting the noble's attention making the lively noises earlier felt into a deep silence.
Ares climbs off the tall carriage with his red cape wrapping around Aphrodite's petite body who was hiding her face inside his shoulders. It wasn't very obvious but both of her ears were flushed red.
Ares was still having a neutral expression on his face however this is what his expression looks like inside his head.

Feeling satisfied as he finally able to peacefully did the deed with Aphrodite without any interruption. For once, he was thanking Adelliana for not being difficult to urge them to let her go with them.

Because Aphrodite was carried with her back facing the crowd, they couldn't see the wrinkles on her skirt and the wrinkles on Ares' shirt.
After leaving Aphrodite to rest inside their tent, Ares changed his clothes to something much more simple and was greeted by bunch of noble men.
They were placing their hands on their chests to show their way of greeting. Ares only nodded his head and awkwardly bow his head a little bit.
"Is the duchess feeling unwell today?"
"Lord Ares, you have come a long way. Shouldn't you be resting along with your wife first?"
"I am thankful for your concern however, I am fine. My wife couldn't walk because her legs are in pain. She'll be fine by tomorrow."
Ares continued to chat with the noble for another 16 minutes before excuse himself to meet up with the emperor. Eyes still following him nonstop but it was something Ares was used to.
Gently opens the royal tent, inside was Helios drinking tea with Cronus. No sign of anyone else inside the tent.
"Oh! You made it, Ares. How about having a cup of orchid tea first??"
Helios, even without hearing Ares' answer, already pour tea for him. Cronus simply waved his hand at Ares and back to drink his tea with the most relaxed look ever despite showing his stone face.
Ares pulled a chair out and sit between both of them. He sips the fragrance tea and place it back on the table.
"I heard all from outside. They said that you were carrying lady Aphrodite in your arms from the carriage. Did you guys do the smooch ~~~?"
Helios wrapped his arm around Ares and gave him the most teasing look ever. Ares shook his head and denied everything smoothly.
"Her legs were simply in pain, I only offered to help her."
He didn't lie, her legs were definitely were in pain. Specifically, between her legs.
No one noticed but Cronus was making a face loudly saying that Ares is lying like a smooth criminal.
"Anyway, are you planning on getting anything? This year, the one who gets the most will be rewarded with the Crown of golden tear." Helios shows his natural sly smile and look at both cousin with interest.
Ares shooks his head and replied;
"I don't want it. My room is packed with those useless rewards already, I tried to do a giveaway too but they are still everywhere."
By giveaway, Ares meant giving half of his rewards to Adelliana because she likes to wear crown or stare at priceless items.
Meanwhile, Cronus was staring at his tea. Only him and his wife are the only tower's representatives. His daughter is staying at home all sad and alone.
His plan was to come here alone but the stupid cunning emperor on his left kept bugging him about bringing his wife. And because of that, Seraphina also wanted to come.
Throwing tantrums and even using magic but he still didn't allow her to go with them. He even go as far as confining her inside the room of sealing so that she won't be able to use magic to escape.
Having a prodigy kid born with extraordinary mana and magic and good looking isn't as blessing as what the witches and wizards said.
