Slytherins, depicted as evil and dark wizards, are in truth the most loving people you will meet who will do anything for you, even if that meant kill a person. You do not want to get on a Slytherins wrong side, especially Leta Lestrange.

The dark haired girl sleep peacefully the next night, but not as good as the night before with James. She found herself sleeping in the same shirt which smelled like him. The wood from his broomstick and distinctive cookie smell which seemed to linger around him.

She couldn't help but be intoxicated by this boy with his mischievous smirk and his small chuckle he does after everything she said, no matter how stupid it is.

James Potter, sat up in his bed that night, gazing around the dorm which was full of shadows from the slowly rising sun. He continued playing the image of waking up next to Leta and he couldn't help but wish it to be a daily occurrence.

He couldn't help but be intoxicated by this girl with her dark chocolate hair and her sarcastic and witty comments after everything he said, no matter how serious he was.

He ran his hands through his hair before letting out a sigh, leaning back onto the pile of pillows he had made. This Slytherin girl was in his system and he couldn't get her out.

"Why hello Potter." Leta said, nodding in the direction of the boy as they passed each other. "Good morning Lestrange." James replied, none of them stopping or glancing at each other.

Leta continued walking until she came to a wooden door which she pushed open, stepping onto a empty balcony but James was on the other side, coming from a door on the other side of the balcony.

They then ran to each other with faces of excitement. She wrapped her arms around his neck while he wrapped his around her waist. Their lips pressed against each other for a couple seconds until they released each other.

"Isn't it beautiful?" Leta asked, leaning on the barrier of the balcony and looking up at the mountains around them. "Yes, it is." James replied, walking up behind her but he did not look at the view but her, scanning each small detail of her from each strand of hair to each fingernail.

She then looked over at him with a surprised look which turned to a furrowed brow. "What?" She asked aggressively which made him roll his eyes. "You know you don't have to act all tough and scary all the time?" He asked with a smirk, pulling her closer.

"Yes but why would I want to be anything else?" She smirked back, her hands resting on his chest and running along the sticks of his jumper. He then lowered his head and kissed, his back to the banister and both their eyes closed.

"James!"

The two looked over with fear to see a raging Sirius with a clenched jaw and cheeks that were going red. "Are you dating her?" He spat, pointing at Leta with a furrowed brow.

"I hope this is some prank!" He continued to exclaim. Leta tried to slowly walked back but James grabbed her arm. "You're going down with me." He whispered in her ear before standing straight."

"No Sirius. This ain't a prank, this is real." James said sternly, not wanting to raise his voice at his best friend.

"Sirius I swear-" James chased his best friend around the castle. "You can have any girl but you chose the one girl I hate the most!" He shouted at the boy, stopping and turning around quickly to face the messy haired boy.

"I feel betrayed James!" He shouted dramatically, now walking faster then before making James quicken his pace. "Sirius please." He pleaded but he was having none of it.

They got into the common room but Sirius hurried to their room, slamming and locking the door in James's face. It was easy for James to unlock the door with a spell but he knew that Sirius needed space.

Instead James sat on the couch. "James. You can come up to bed." Remus called down from his door to the boy who was warming himself by the fire. He was taken back when James began to shake his head.

"It's okay. I'll sleep here and let Sirius have time away from me." James said, tapping on the couch and laying down on it. Remus let out a small sigh before chucking down James's pyjamas and a blanket.

"Are you sure?" He asked again before all the lights went out. James nodded one last time before putting out the fire and shutting his eyes.

James opened his eyes the next morning, his eyes slightly red and sticky from he must of shed a small tear during his sleep. He then sat up when he felt something on his foot.

He then wiped his tongue with a disgusted look, inspecting the black fur on his fingers with curiosity. James peered down at his feet where a large, black dog lay sound asleep.

"Padfoot." He muttered with a smile as he patted the dog making it wake up from its slumber.
