KYDEN'S POV
It all happened so quickly one minute were arguing about pranks and the next were in a hospital room with an unconscious Alessa when our father said "Explain and tell me the truth "in a cold voice but it did not scare as l was not responsible for it.
l only chuckled which earned me a glare in return from everyone else .l might as well tell them the truth as am not in the mood for thinking about lies when my sister's life is on life and said"Well from what l know you let us go with our so called mother who married Mike(stepfather) who is a drug addict and addicted her to drugs so there was no room for love on the equation so obviously if they see the kids they beat the living daylights out of them except l was old enough to defend myself .
Earlier the day they were arrested l had left Alessa home since she was sick and left her home l went back early since l had forgot my homework only to see them beating her to death so l believe you got your answer "l said in a cold voice
I saw confusion and anger flash in his eyes as he asked "what do you mean let you go with her"l chuckled and said well "Mother dearest said me and Alessa were burdens you did not want us so you let her take you.Which earned me a dark chuckle from him"Well she lied to you after the divorce was finalized l won full custody of all of you .
l was at work while the boys were at school you were sick that day so you stayed with Alessa when we came home we found your room and her crib empty with only a note from Kate(their mother) saying it was her revenge for not giving her money l searched for you guys but she covered her tracks well.She had lied to the guard saying she came to collect her things no one knows how she managed to take you guys but how don't you remember that you were 10"
After he said that l felt like killing my so called mother and l kinda felt bad for treating them bad especially without remembering anything is that wrong as he was still confused about me not remembering l answered his question
"l don't remember much from when l was 10 l just remember waking up with a bleeding head seeing my mother laughing as l was at the bottom of the stairs it did not need a genius to know she pushed me so after that some of the memories kind of faded l guess that's why l was cold to you guys l did not remember if you were nice or not"
They all looked at me with guilt in their eyes when dad said" it's all my fault l should have looked for you guys harder and this all would not have happened am sorry"he said
I quickly cut her off and said"lt was not your fault you did not know what will happen so don't blame yourself and you don't need to apologise for something you did not do"l said ."Ouuu let's hug it out "said the one and only Lorenzo as he came and hugged me l will not admit it but it actually felt nice to be hugging him .So we all hugged from Alessandro to Dad .We started talking about random stuff about some of the things l remember and them telling me about what we used to do turns out l was very close to Romero which shocked me but not that much as we do act the same we were interrupted my a little voice saying"daddy" and the monitor beeping super fast which caught everyones attention
