Jabrea
Ever since the kickback me and Mikey have been spending more time together and getting to know each other better which I like a lot
Today he has a basketball game so I'm going to that and then we're gonna catch a movie
I got dressed then grabbed my purse and headed to the school
When I got there I went to the gym and waited in the lobby to buy my ticket
"Ohhhh look at you wearing my Jersey" I heard a voice say
I turned around and saw Mikey
"Hiiii" I said and hugged him
"Hey pretty lady" he said and hugged me back
"I told you I would come" I said
"Yea but I thought you were playing with me" he laughed
"No I actually came to support you and the team" I said
"Well thank you, do you get your ticket yet?" He asked me
"No I was about to tho" I told him
"Nah come on you good" he said and held my hand walking into the gym
"Here sit right there" he said pointing to one of the front row seats
"Alright now get in there and show them who Mikey Williams really is" I told him
"Fashoo" he said
We did our handshake before he walked away to the court.
Shortly after the game started and Mikey was doing great carrying the team as usual
Until the one of the players from the opposite team pushed him over
Everything happened so fast and I wanted to see if Mikey was okay but instead his teammates helped him up while the ref called a foul
"Timeout" the coach yelled then called the team in for a huddle
Once the huddle broke up the game started back up and they were all putting in effort
The game ended 28-16 and we won as predicted
The team headed to the lockeroom after celebrating on the court. I got up and went to the lobby
I listened to music until I saw Mikey walk into the lobby and come over to me
"Congratulations" I said
He picked me up and twirled me around
"Thank you so much" he said and hugged
"You okay?" I asked
"Yea" he said
"Good let's go" I said
We turned around to walk out but stopped once someone called Mikey's name
"Hey I just wanted to say congrats on the win" some lightskin girl said to him
"Yea I appreciate it" he said
"Um if you're not busy maybe we could go grab something to eat" she said
Tuh the audacity of this bitch right here
"Not to be disrespectful or anything but shawty I don't even know who you are, hell I don't even know your name" he told her
"Ima go grab something to eat with my girl though so you have a nice night respectfully"
he grabbed my hand and walked out the gym leaving the girl standing there shocked
"Yo girl huh?" I laughed once we got outside
"I mean I could've said wife, but I don't think should would've fell for that one" he laughed
"Well then can we get Chick-fil-A?" I asked
"Yea" he said
We got in the car and he drove off heading to Chick-fil-A. Once I got my food we ended up back at his house so he could take a shower change
I waited in his watching Bridgerton until he got out the shower and came back into his room
"Whatchu watching?" He asked
"Bridgerton" I said and looked up
His was dripping wet with a towel around his waist
"Like something you see?" He asked
"Maybe I do" I shrugged
He smiled and went to his closet getting a outfit
"Mikey do to my basket-" a girl walked in but stopped mid sentence when she saw me
"What do you want Mia" he asked
"My baddddd I didn't know you had company" she said
"Mia this is Jabrea and Jabrea this is my sister Mia" he said
"Ohhhh so you're the pretty girl my brother keeps talking about" she smiled and sat down on the bed
"Yea I guess" I laughed
"I like her" she whispered to Mikey
"Mhm now what do you want" he said
"Oh where's my gym bag" she asked
"Downstairs in the kitchen" he told her
"K got it and it was nice meeting you" Mia said before leaving the room
"Ima get dressed then we can go" Mikey said and went to the bathroom again
When he came out this time he was fully dressed and ready to go
"You ready?" He asked me
"Yea let's go" I said
He grabbed my hand and we walked out the door going to the movie theater
For the first time in what feels like forever I'm happy
