"So when can I take you on a date?" Mikey asked
"A date??? Mikey we've only know each other for a month and a half" I told him
"I know and I don't want to push or rush you into anything but it can be like two friends going out together" he said
"Okay as friends though" I said
"Bet" he said and smiled
"But when?" I asked him
"Right now?" He asked
I looked at the time seeing it was only 8 o'clock
"You already had this planned out didn't you" I laughed
"Maybe, maybe not" he shrugged
"Okay yes we can but I gotta get ready" I said
"Aight bet see you in a few" he said
"Okay" I said and hung up
I walked out my room and went to find Laila
"Lailaaaa" I said and walked into her room
"What girla" she said
"Will you do my hair for tonight I'm going on a date with Mikey" I told her
She froze for a minute then turned around and looked at me
"oh my goshhh" she said and ran to hug me
"A date like a actual date" she asked
"Well yes but we're still friends just going out together" I said
"Awwww" she said
"Ok now will you do my hair for me" I asked
"Of course I will but what style do you want"
"Ummm something different but still cute and simple" I told her
"Okay let me see what I got" she said and walked to her bathroom
This girl was the frontal queennnnnn, she kept frontals on deck and slayed all of them
"What about this?" She asked and held up a long frontal with deep waves in it
"Ummm that's cute but no" I said
"Ok hold on" she said and kept looking
"Ouuuuu what about this?" She asked and held up a short frontal
"Omg this is cuteeeee" I said
"Good let's get it on you" she said
I sat down in the chair and she started braiding my hair getting the rest of her material together
30 minutes later
Laila was finally done with my hair and it looked so cuteeeee
"I love this look" I said
"It does look good on you" Laila added
"Periodt Dora could nevaaaaa" I said
"Stiff where?" Laila started singing
"I love it thank you so much" I said and hugged her
I left her room and got dressed put on a black crop top with jeans and white forces after making sure everything was together I texted Mikey and told him I was ready
15 minutes later there was a knock at the door and I answered it
"Hi" I said and hugged him
"Hey" he smiled
"You look good" i said
"And you look even better" he said and handed me roses
"Oh my goshhhh" I said and grabbed them
"Come on" he said
we walked out the house to his car he opened the door and let me in then went to his side and got in
I didn't know where we were going but he pulled out parking lot and headed to the highway
After 45 minutes of driving we ended up at a mall
We got out the car and he held my hand as we walked inside the mall
I followed him until he stopped in front of build-a-bear
"Awwww" I smiled
"This is what you want right?" He asked
"You remembered" I nodded
"Of course I did" he said
We walked inside the store and chose the animal we wanted which was a bear, after getting it stuffed Mikey put a voice recording in there and wouldn't let me listen to it until the date was over.
Next we made his birth certificate and signed it
"Meet Turtle 2.0" i said showing Mikey
"He is adorable"
"I know right" I said smiling
We left Build-a-bear and took the escalator to Lids
"Alright pick the hat you want" he told me
I looked around seeing all the different colors and decided on a black fitted hat
"Ouuu this one" I said and picked it up
"I like it" he said
After getting a salesperson to put our names on the hat he handed me back mine with his name on it, and then put his hat on with my name on it.
"Ahhhh we look so cute" I said looking in the mirror
"My name looks good on you" he said
"Oh yeah?" I asked
"Mhm" he nodded trying not to smile
When we were done he took me to go get Chick-fil-A before taking me back home
"I enjoyed our date it was fun" I said and hugged Mikey
"I'm glad you enjoyed it hopefully we can do it again" he said
"Round 2 huh?" I laughed
"If you can handle the challenge" he shrugged
"Oh you're onnnn" I said
"You not gone do better than me" he rolled his eyes
"We'll see" I laughed
"Goodnight midget" he said and kissed my forehead
"Goodnight Turtle" I said and walked into the house
