They called her a monster when she was younger.
How she easily killed someone with a gun.

Often he was rude, even to her. But he would always watch as she had on that gentle smile on her face, how she took care of the younger ones all too well. How she acted like a big sister to them, and how she remains smiling despite in the face of danger.

Porco Galliard remembered her features too clearly, especially that blinding smile that he unconsciously looked forward to every day. There were times where he would wake up much earlier than the others and head over to her room to wake her up.

Which she often would wonder why he did so as it would usually be Pieck who does it.

And today, was no different than the other as he woke up before the others did. He yawned as he walked over to where her room was after he stepped out into the hallway. How he was all too familiar with the way things had been going on.

He knocked on the door a few times, in case she might have woken up earlier than him. He grabbed hold of the doorknob and turned it, pushing it opened did he notice how the table lamp on the bedside table was switched on.

Where he realized how she had fallen asleep while reading a book. The way the book laid opened upon her stomach as her eyes were shut, her lips parted as she breathed steadily while he walked deeper into her room, shutting the door behind him.

He stood next to her as he picked the book up from her hold, a small smile appeared on his lips as he realized she had been reading the book he had gotten for her, which he claimed he didn't want it and wanted to throw away.

And if she wanted that garbage, she can take it.

"Your smile is enchanting," and he tensed up when he heard her voice, where he turned to look at her, staring into her pair of sleepy eyes. She yawned as she stretched her arms over her head, stretching her back as well.

"Good morning, Porco," she spoke out with a smile and Porco felt his heart skipped a beat at the gentle smile on her face. A frown replaced the look on his face as he turned to look away from her, whereas she giggled slightly in response.

"You are up and early again, did you come to wake me up once more?" she spoke out as she shifted, making space on the bed for Porco to have a seat which he often did. He would reach out and grab hold of her hand in his, where he would trace the back of her hand with his thumb.

How she laid back down onto the bed, her head resting against the pillow as she felt his touch soothing to her soul. He watched as her eyes started to shut as she let out a soft sigh, enjoying his touch as she always did.

It wasn't a secret that he had feelings for the woman before him. Everybody could tell, and often Reiner would tell him to make his move before anything else happens. Which Porco would tell him off and tell him to mind his own business.

Somehow, he was contented with the way things are.

He remembered when she first joined, she was nothing but a sweet girl. Who didn't dare to hold a gun. How she never killed anybody before when she joined the military, it was as if she was the one who was there for display purposes.

But she was their 'nurse', the one who would nurse them back to health and attend to their wounds immediately. Many would ask why she joined the military if she didn't intend to fight or sacrifice herself.

But she never once answered as she had a smile on her face throughout despite being a candidate to inherit the 'Female Titan' abilities. She continued to remain the same as just how she had just joined while she waited for the return of Annie.

Which Porco, would often scold her for it. Telling her that sooner or later she would need to step out of her comfort zone, and she would laugh at it, waving it off with a smile on her face.

But little did any of them know, blood was going to be shed.

"What? Gabi and Falco are out there?!" she yelled out as she ran past the medical team quickly, how many of them tried to tell her to stop and that it's dangerous to be out there, but she didn't listen. Her lips pressed into a fine thin line as she took off running towards where danger was.

Her eyes widened as she looked at how Falco and Gabi were held at gunpoint and her lips parted as she noticed how scared they were. Something within her snapped somehow as she grabbed hold of the abandoned sniper rifle that she found all too familiar.

Just as Porco arrived, about to help out only for his eyes to widen as [name] took a stance and fired at the soldier who was harming their fellow warriors. His heart sped up at the fact that this was the first time [name] had held a weapon and fired to kill someone.

The bullet shot through the soldier's head as he fell to the ground. How Falco and Gabi's eyes widened as they realized they were saved, yet, the fact that they realized it was [name] who had done so.

"[name]... saved us?" Falco whispered out as they looked at [name] who stood up and held the sniper rifle tightly in her hand as she walked over to where they were. How she kicked the unconscious body to the side with ease as her eyes laid upon Falco and Gabi.

"You alright?" she asked, and Porco arrived by her side as he grabbed hold of the weapon from her and looked at her.

"You shot someone," he spoke out and [name] nodded her head in response as she turned to avert her gaze. Her lips parted as her hands trembled slightly as she had on an awkward smile.

"I'm... sorry?" she whispered out, having no intention of killing anyone. But watching as Falco and Gabi were in danger, she couldn't help but step out of her comfort zone and fire. He noticed how her eyes were trembling.

Maybe because of her past life, that's why she didn't want to hurt anybody. But he didn't question as he pulled her into a tight hug as he felt her body trembled against his hold.

"You alright?" and [name] tensed up upon hearing Porco's voice where she turned to look at him, standing by her room's door. She had on a small smile as she nodded her head, whereas he let out a sigh as he shut the door behind him and walked deeper into her room.

"No, you're not," he snapped and [name] laughed it off with ease.

"You shouldn't be all snappy at me," she spoke out with the usual gentle smile on her face and Porco let out a sigh as he sat on her bed, where he harshly grabbed hold of her face in his hands, looking at the way the tear stains remained.

"And you shouldn't be lying," he answered, which [name] parted her lips to let out a sigh, only to have her eyes widened as he pressed his lips against hers. She blinked her eyes a few times as she registered what was going on.

Her face flushed red at what had just happened just as her heart pounded hard against her chest. He looked at her, noticing the dazed look on her face did he start to blush furiously.

"Again," and he looked at her.

"Kiss me again," she spoke out and Porco couldn't help but smile as he kissed her on the lips once more.

"Again?" he asked, and watched as she nodded her head.

Monster or not,
he loves her.
