"Just open it, Farrah. Your essay and resume were amazing. I'm sure you got in." Jackson insisted, as I played with the white envelope in my hand.

The inked symbol of Stanford forced itself into my brain, racking my body with anxiety that wouldn't go away until that letter was opened.

"If I don't get in, then I have to go some where far away from all of you. I mean, I'm not against traveling abroad...just not for four years. I have to get in." I rambled, as the Fuller and Gibbler family peered over my shoulder, almost as nervous as I was

Jackson took my hand in his own, before gently moving it to lightly tear open the envelope that sealed the news of the letter. A small collective gasp sounded from the group behind us.

"Will you guys shut it? She literally just opened the envelope." Jackson groaned, making the families hold their hands up in defense

"Whenever you're ready, Farrah. Even if we've been sitting here for twenty minutes." Steph encouraged, whispering the last part underneath her breath

I laughed at her slight annoyance, knowing that they understood how big of a moment this was, and were eager to hear the news, "Okay. Okay, I can do this."

Jackson offered me a final smile, nodding at the letter that was almost opened. I took the edge of the paper, flipping the three-way folded piece of paper open. The group squeezed in tighter, hoping to read the letter over my shoulder.

Dear Miss. Hill,

Congratulations! On behalf of the Office of Undergraduate Commission, it is my pleasure to offer you admission to Stanford's class of 2024.

"I...I did it. I did it. I got in! I'm going to Stanford!" I shouted, squealing as I stood up and shoved the letter into the faces of the shocked families

Everyone collectively jumped up and down, cheering loudly like a stereotypical group of young girls. Jackson broke from the group, picking me up from the ground in a tight hug.

Steve was quick to follow, hugging the both of us into an air-removing hug. The others joined in, throwing their arms around each other, hoping to send their love to me though they weren't physically touching me.

"Oh, I knew you could do it. I thought Jackson's might have brought your IQ down a couple of point over the years, but I believe you've proved me wrong." Max semi-complimented, making Jackson frown as I laughed
