We returned to camp with everyone's attention divided. Some of them were staring at us specifically the angel behind me and most of them were intent on the tension between the twins and Samael. Caleb was only standing in the middle of it all, watching on who would make the first move.

Buck was hiding behind Sevor and Rui was standing beside him, ready to protect him in case Samael will attack. Buck was peeking from behind, completely puzzled on what was going on.

The reaper stood calmly in place. There was no sign of aggressiveness or any aggravation.

"Samael, walk away, the Lord has sent a message to no longer kill the child," Raphael stated with much seriousness. All of his carefree expressions were buried under that stern. It was deafeningly quiet. Every fiber of each individual here was constricted in anticipation. The children were afraid to even move.

"What are you waiting for? Scram!" Slade snapped. "You're not wanted here!"

I furrowed my eyes at that. Slade was still the same. I thought he would change after that outburst last night but I guess it would take much more than that. I do not like seeing Samael be shunned by people. Being a reaper, he was the bringer of death therefore, he cannot live with anyone.

"I'm hated by many, loved by many, and known by all..." Samael suddenly said which caused everyone to look at him as if he had lost his mind. My lips twitched at that and I walked towards him.

"That is right Peaches," I praised him. "Do not mind the hate or the stares that they are giving you."

Samael stared down at me with a small hint of realization in his expression. "It is not polite to stare but...I understand."

Slade seemed to have been enraged by that. "What's more impolite: You swinging that scythe or us staring?!" Slade shouted caused by fury.

"Jealousy is a disease, get treated soon," he deadpanned.

"You are such a bad influence on him Lucian," Raphael chuckled.

I gave him a questioning scowl. "I think your father is much more seeing that Samael attempted to mutilate us all the first time."

Raphael suddenly ducked and looked above. He placed his index finger against his mouth and let out a 'shh.'

"And who the heck are you?" Slade asked. His eyes were still swollen from crying and his everyday bad mood seemed to have worsen.

Raphael bowed gracefully. "Ah, how rude of me. My name is Raphael, I am Lucian's guardian angel."

Caleb and the twins shadowed me and Samael stood closer to my body. They all have this intimidating aura that even caused the children to back away to one corner.

"Scram," they stated darkly with a hidden threat which caused Raphael to stare at them with glee in his appearance though him stepping back contradicted his calm demeanor. Raphael's sharp analytic eyes narrowed and his aura shifted into an austere one. I noticed how there were two sides of him and how untrustworthy he could be if we do not get to know him better.

"I believe I cannot do that. I have seen how you have been neglecting Lucian's safety. Just a moment ago, he fell from the cliff and it is not that I am raising my status but if it weren't for me, he could have died."

Sevor stood in front of me in a hurry and looked at me from head to toe, analyzing me inch by inch. He cupped my cheeks and raised my head. "Are you hurt anywhere? What happened?"

"I am fine. I would  just like to try walking with no land. I almost got it but Raphael intervened," I deadpanned.

Raphael laughed. There was no hint of annoyance in his face. He actually seem to enjoy how I constantly threw him cold words. "Classic Lucian."
