[Third]

The clock dinged as it struck 9'O clock.

"Nanamiii, talk about something interesting" Gojo whined as he arched his back backwards onto the couch.

All he got in response was a sigh as Nanami's eyes continued to gaze at the newspaper, reading the words that former sentences. He wondered why there was a news report of a tall person whacking a teacher that was not wearing pants. It was sighted by a child that the person who whacked the head of the teacher used a shovel and inquired about becoming a potato. The teacher himself apparently reported he could only remember someone stealing his pants and another being extremely terrifying. Why did this make him think of a certain Itadori and (M/N)?

Gojo flexed both his hands to make finger guns that he pointed into the air as he got an idea. He suggested the idea of playing catch with discarded rice balls while discussing the separation of church and state with a smile. Following up, he suggested they record it and upload it to troll the people online but Nanami told him to enjoy that on his own before his fingers grabbed the edge of the paper to flick to another page, wondering what idea that was.

Gojo continued on as the palm of his hands and fingers met twice to clap twice. Now, he recommended that they play a drinking game and name things they loved about Gojo which Gojo answered that it was everything. Nanami bluntly said that he should keep that attitude going since right now, Itadori needed that idiocy the most. When Gojo told Itadori he would get several harder mission with (M/N) this isn't what he meant.

"Have you told them about the finger you found in Yoshino's-!" Gojo started only to be cut off

"I haven't told him. Knowing him, he'd just feel unnecessarily responsible. I can't tell if (M/N)-kun would be affected by this either so I left him in the dark about it." Nanami said

"I'm glad I left you in charge. And the finger?" Gojo asked

"I submitted it to the higher-ups, of course. If I gave it to you, you'd feed it straight to Itadori-kun, right?" Nanami suggested

"Tsk" Gojo spat nothing out since Nanami was right

"But is it really okay to bring him back? If the fact he's alive becomes known at the exchange event, won't the higher-ups just target him again?" Nanami asked

"Even if they do, Yuji will be fine now. You know that better than anyone, don't you? Plus, he's got (M/N) by his side. Did you hear, he handled it all by himself for one of the fingers? Can't believe his cat nearly at one too. That cat is seriously weird." Gojo laughed

"Yes, Ijichi informed me. He's not the fastest learner unlike Itadori-kun but he trains a lot from what I see in his schedule to keep up. Did you teach him Domain Expansion?" Nanami continued.

Gojo shook his head before he explained that he had explained what it was but he never taught him. He hummed before he started questioning how he learned it before remembering his cat might have taught him which immediately put Nanami on edge. There was seriously something up with that cat. Nanami stopped reading the newspaper to look up at Gojo as he began to open his mouth to ask about (M/N)'s and Itadori's parents but he was interrupted.

Itadori came rushing in with his face full of excitement and joy, eyes filled with stars and a large grin on his face. He could finally see his friends again aside from (M/N). He noticed Nanami was there too and gave him a bright joyful smile. He looked much more cheerful than he did yesterday since the slight eye-bags under his eyes were gone and he seemed to have his bright smile back as he waved his arms around. He urged them to hurry up so he could go see everyone while they wondered what had happened. Itadori just looked so excited and happy.
