I walked downstairs hearing someones music playing. I found out where it was coming from and saw my brother dancing. I pulled out my phone recording trying not to laugh. After a minute he noticed me and quickly stopped the music
Melly laughed sitting on the couch " man you can't be doing that" he said
I laughed looking over at him " dont dance in the livingroom then.. Who song is that though" i asked
" it's moseys artist jae lynx. He close to yo age but that shit was fire doe" melly said
I nodded " you think he'd wanna do a song wimme?" I asked
Melly shrugged " ion know but i can ask lanthan" he said
I nodded as he picked up his phone. I smiled picking up my phone going to instagram I looked up his name clicking on the first account. I scrolled through seeing he was close to my age, he was short, lightskin and had curly hair
Melly set his phone down " he said he can set it up but jae wants to for sure he'll be over soon to talk about it" he said
I nodded going back to Instagram and clicking add to story. I clicked on the video of melly dancing and started typing ' me and bro rock wit @jaelynx. Check him out' and clicked post
Melly looked down at his phone " aye you posted that?" He asked standing up
I laughed standing up as he chased me up the stairs. I ran into my room closing the door and locking it.
I smiled " ha i win" I said getting a laugh from melly as he walked back down the stairs
I walked to my closet getting a outfit and walking to the bathroom. I turned the shower on and got in. Once i was done i got out and got dressed, i walked out of the bathroom putting my shoes on and putting on my ynw chain. I walked down the stairs seeing melly sitting on the couch
Melly looked up " that video is already everywhere" he said
I laughed as a someone began to knock at the door " go upstairs" I said getting a weird look from him
Melly grabbed his phone standing up " its not that deep nigga but okay" he said walking up the stairs
I rolled my eyes going to answer the door seeing lanthan and the guy from instagram. Jaelyn walked inside looking around the house
Lanthan looked up from his phone " wassup bro.. Yall got this? Yall dont need a babysister or something" he asked grinning
I rolled my eyes closing the door in his face. Turning around to see jaelyn walking around
I looked at him confused " uh.. So about the song" I said
Jaelyn turned around shrugging " we dont gotta do that right now, we got time.. Wheres your brother" he asked
I rubbed the back of my neck confused not really knowing what to say ".. Upstairs" i said
Jaelyn grinned " can you go get him?" He asked
I sighed nodding as i walked up the stairs going into mellys room as he looked up at me.
Melly sat up " nigga. Its only been five minutes what could have possibly happened" he asked
I sighed fidgiting with my chain " he wants to meet you" I said
Melly frowned seeing the look on my face but stood up anyway. He stopped at the door turning to me " ill make it quick so you can get to planning yo song ight"
I smiled nodding " thanks" i said as he walked down the stairs
I followed behind him down the stairs slowly. I sat down on the bottom steps watching them talk
Jaelyn smiled " nice to meet you" he said smiling
melly grinned showing off his grills " always nice to meet upcoming rappers" he said
They talked for a while untill melly started to make escuses for him to go back upstairs.
I stood up walking over " so about the son-" I said but he interrupted
Jaelyn walked off to the livingroom looking around again. I rolled my eyes following after him sitting on the couch
I sighed watching him starting to get annoyed " did you have anything in mind for your verse" i asked
Jaelyn shook his head " nah not yet.. Do you got a pool?" He asked
I sighed heasitiently nodding " uh yeah" i said
His face lit up " can we swim?" He asked smiling
I started figditing with my chain again " uh yeah.. I got extra swim trunks" i said standing up
I walked up the stairs going to my room i grabbed one pair of swim truncks not really in the mood to swim. I walked back down the stairs handing them to him. He walked to the bathroom going to change. A few minutes later he came back out and i showed him to the pool. He got in and i walked to the beach chair sitting down on my phone. He swam for a few hours untill he had to leave. He got out and walked to the bathroom to change back into his clothes when someone knocked at the door.
I walked to the door opening it with a not so amused face " why you aint tell me bro was a procastinator.. We aint even mentioned the song in all the hours we been here" he said
Lanthan looked like he remembered something " ohh yeah.. I forgot to mention that" he said as jae walked out of the bathroom
Jaelyn smiled walking to the door holding his phone " wassup" he said
Lanthan looked over at him " did you start writing your verse" he asked
Jaelyn nodded " Yeah but I aint done yet" he said lying
Lathan looked at me trying not to laugh he looked supprised probaly not expecting him to lie " man come on" he said
Jaelyn followed him out of the house he turned around waving at me smiling before walking to the car. I closed the door rolling my eyes as i walked up the stairs. This whole day was pointless
