Fu Gui looked at himself in the mirror nervously. He was clothed in a red wedding hanfu, a heavy headdress and a red veil. He pondered to himself,

"Do I look like a 'bride'? Will this be okay?"

Yes, you guessed right. Fu Gui is getting married. After they had greeted the Emperor, the Emperor had asked the Head priest to do some divination and found that the auspicious day for them to get married was in two months. They wanted to know if there was any other date a bit later but found that the next auspicious day was in 5 years.

(A/N: I don't know if head priest is the correct person here. This is all just bullshit.)

Qin Junqian, "It's alright. Emperor father, please let us get married on the earliest auspicious day."

The Imperial court, ".............."

Brother Junqian, you seem to be in a hurry? Why is that ha? Tell me, tell our audience... Did your little brother get the same disease as Yusheng's one?

Cough cough...

Stuff happened. Although Fu Gui's family was a bit reluctant to marry him off so early, in the end they agreed and now it was Fu Gui's wedding day. Fu Gui tried his best to learn the Imperial etiquettes in these two months but he still felt that he was lacking. These things aren't like the works he did in the 22nd century. They are more situational and require him to be psychologically strong.

Since it was an Imperial wedding, everything will naturally be grand. What if... what if he messed something up? What would he do then?

Fu Gui's mother looked at his anxious self and patted his head.

"It will be alright, Ah-Gui. My son is really good. Everything will go well."

Fu Gui looked at his mother and nodded despite the worry and guilt in his heart. He knew that he wasn't their son... He was only occupying little 'Fu Gui's body. He was sorry for that. But... He couldn't help but be selfish. He had never experienced such familial love despite having parents. Although his original parents cared about him, they were busy most of them time. So all of them never spent much time together.

He sometimes wonders. Would things have been different if he had initiated contact with his parents first? Would they also have been able to become a happy family?

Fu Gui doesn't know. To be more accurate, he won't ever be able to know. All he could do was treasure 'Fu Gui's family despite being a fake.

He was a bit upset when he heard that he'll be married in two months. He was upset thinking that he won't be able to stay together with his 'family'. But Junqian reassured him, promising him to take him home everyday in the future.

A maid knocked on the door, "Madam, the General Yusheng's wife, Madam Li is here." Fu Gui's mother asked the maid to let him in.

Su Ying had naturally come to attend Fu Gui's wedding all dressed up, although his original goal was to gulp down some delicious food. Imperial foods are damn good and a foodie like Su Ying can't say no to it.

Along with him was the lovely little Bao who refused to be a flower boy.

Fu Gui really liked Shenxing. He's so cute and adorable. Most importantly, he's his idol's son.

But apparently little Shenxing didn't pay much attention to him. Shenxing is a cool baby and cool babies can't behave like a fool. They can only be cool ba...

"Aiya Fu Gui... You look so good? The fourth Prince might get a heart attack." Su Ying said.

A heart attack would be too much. That poor guy is already suffering from love sickness. Don't jinx him.
