Chase's POV: 

i was sitting in the computer lab trying to finish a few documents i needed to send to the alliance. i suddenly heard the computer lab's door creak open revealing Rory holding a huge bag.

"Hey there!" she sat on the chair beside mine

"hey, you know that its 7 in the morning? this is the first time i see you awake at this time" 

"well, i couldn't sleep so i thought maybe someone needs a little bit of company..?" 

"yeah sure but im still busy with work. i need to finish docu-" she cut me off

"I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTEE" she shot up from the seat

"oh calm your ass back down, its not that big of a deal" i rolled my eyes "but thanks for the thought"

"if you choose to take a break I'm will  share my chicken nuggets with you..." she tried to make a deal with me

"i think I'm hearing things. Rory? sharing her nuggets? when you get your Hogwarts letter, only then will there be a possibility." 

"how on earth do you know whether i have it or not? they sent it to me when i was 10, I'm a Gryffindor by the way. i just quit because of Voldemort's noseless face." she tried making up stuff

i laughed at her childish behavior and i grabbed a sour patch kids packet from the bag and started eating it while working

"chase, i want to ask you something. the same thing that kept me awake" she  looked up from her nuggets that were dipped in the McDonalds sweet chili sauce

"yeah go ahead" 

" we all know what happened to Leo's mother, how she was murdered and her remaining's were found somewhere..." i hummed a 'yes..?'

"well how are you sure its her, i know Leo said they sent flesh so they can check the DNA. but the corpse was burned and all that was found was her skeleton. so how can you be sure it is her? they could've cut flesh from her or something.." Rory started thinking out loud, she tends to do that

i thought about it "yeah, your theory is really accurate, but we cant assume anything especially related to Leo. if we turn out to be wrong, we may die because of it" 

"yeah i know, that's why i wanted to check, i know a doctor who can define a persons DNA from their  bones, so you can ask Leo to test it just to check, and if its not her corpse than we can tell him our theory, what do you think?"
