Son Hyeju wasn't surprised that the first person to be awake would be the young Jeon. In fact even when she accidentally made loud noises, Jeon Y/n ignored her existence and continued staring at the sunrise— unusually dazed and filled with deep thoughts. Unknown to the Son, she also fell into her own dazed state as she studied the silent Y/n.
❝Y/n, here...❞ Hyeju was snapped out of her trance by Jeon Heejin whom handed a carton of what seems to be chocolate milk to her younger sister. The younger Jeon sibling unnoticeably flinched, but looked up to her still sleepy older sister and took the carton with a small genuine smile. ❝Thank you...❞ The Son realized that it was the first time she saw a genuine smile on the enigma's lips.
❝Ah, Hyeju..! You are awake, that's good. We'll be setting out soon, can you wake them up?❞ Heejin finally acknowledged her presence, Y/n showing that ghost of a smile that she usually gives to her friends. ❝Son Hyeju, it is nice that you've awoken earlier than we've expected but I do hope that you have gotten enough rest.❞
Mentioned girl didn't bother replying to that, only acknowledging it with a firm nod. That was enough for the Jeon to chuckle in satisfaction. ❝Seems like it, I will be going around. Do know when I come back, we will immediately set out.❞ Y/n stood up from her space and let her feet move to somewhere, getting circled by crows as soon as she made distance from the others; the caws of the birds buzzing faintly. The two watched as the young girl disappeared in an instant, one in bewilderment and one in amusement.
❝Oh well...❞ Heejin chuckled and went to wake Hyunjin up, leaving Hyeju with her fascination. ❝Where is Y/n?❞ Kim Jungeun's sleepy voice sounded out of nowhere, causing for the Son to flinch at the sudden appearance. ❝I apologize for startling you.❞
❝It's fine, and Y/n went around.❞
❝Ah, so she was called into another mission.❞ Jungeun seemed somewhat disappointed at what she had just heard. She shook her head and thanked the younger, apologizing again right after. ❝Another mission?❞ Hyeju couldn't help but let her curiosity win.
❝Oh, you didn't know? Jeon Y/n is the Masters' Chosen President, which also means that she is the most sought after student in Cosmos Academy in terms of missions, jobs, and requests— quite the reputation she has, indeed.❞ Heejin smiled and joined their conversation smoothly, resting her arm on the Kim's shoulders casually.
❝The Academy accepts requests from either high ranking or affluent people, they rarely do accept such things from the normal people. It mostly consists of assassination or espionage. Though, that is to be expected from those people... The mission we are in right now is one of the requests, actually!❞
❝Are you serious? Just what exactly is this mission about, Jeon Heejin?❞ The Jeon's smile faltered and was replaced by confusion, instead. ❝Weren't you informed?❞ The shake of the head from the older only confused her more. ❝Huh... That's rather odd. Anyway, the mission is supposed to be for NF, but since you and Jinsol are on a vacation— this task was passed to free students. To which happened to be these girls.
The mission is about reviving someone! Or rather, something... I do not know as well!❞
Both furrowed their eyebrows at that, confused and intrigued. ❝Reviving someone?❞ The Jeon smiled and nodded, raising her hand and letting her palm face the sky.
