"You! You're that tourist aren't you!" screamed Nyx.

"I really thought you would have figured it out by now. I didn't know the Night was so dumb" I said while pinching the bridge of my nose. Apparently, she still thinks we're tourists

"Tell me why I shouldn't kill you where you stand right now?" She asked pointing her sword at me. I just rolled my eyes.

"Well... for starters, you can't. And also, I'm kinda in a hurry. So if you could just point me to the gateway of Hell, I'll be on my way" I said and Nyx's eyes narrowed.

Shadows started to gather around me and Nyx walked forward, her every step making the surroundings darken. Her horses neighed curses at me, which I won't bother translating.

I just calmly summoned hellfire on the Sword of Eden. The fire glowed brightly and easily countered the darkness. Nyx recoiled from the light a bit. She looked at me with rage and confusion. I spoke in my demon voice.

"Careful Nyx. I've already beat Tartarus and I will not hesitate to attack you. I just hope we can solve this diplomatically" Nyx looked ready to pounce but I formed a ring of hellfire around her, stopping her from moving.

"I shall not be told what to do by a demigod! You lie! Tartarus would easily destroy you!" She screeched and tried to dissolve into shadows. I just willed the hellfire to form tendrils and grab her.

It did just that. Nyx screamed in pain, from the hellfire burning her. I walked towards her nonchalantly.

"Well, why don't we ask Tartarus that?" I said smirking. I turned towards the general direction of the Pit and yelled.

"Tartarus, come here. NOW!" I said. The Pit shook before black smoke appeared and gathered. When it disappeared, there stood Tartarus. He looked a bit weak, but given our little encounter, that was expected.

"Show him to the gateway, Nyx" said Tartarus. Nyx, now looked surprised and a bit confused. She grumbled but nodded nevertheless. Tartarus disappeared in flames and smoke. I willed the hellfire to release her.

She stumbled a bit before regaining her balance. She rubbed her wrists, trying to soothe the pain. She motioned me to follow her. I did so and we both stepped on to her chariot of darkness.

The moment I set foot on the chariot, the floor in contact with my foot started to glow and change colour. The light slowly expanded over the entire chariot.

Eventually the chariot of darkness now looked like it was painted white. The horses neighed in protest. Nyx grumbled something about brightness but just whipped the horses and made them go forward.

The chariot took off and we circled the Mansion of Night once, before landing on an open area which resembled a helipad platform. Nyx got down and so did I. As I left the chariot, darkness overcame the light and the chariot was now dark again.

I followed Nyx to the doors of the mansion. She swung them open, not before smirking at me. As soon I entered, the horrors of the mansion mentally slammed me.

It showed me all the dark memories I had, all my desires and all the power I could receive. It tried to tempt me but I held on and forced myself to get rid of these thought.

Next came the fears. It showed me my worst memories and nightmares. It showed camp betraying me all over again. It showed Andromeda getting killed, and worst of all me being the one to kill her.
