Harry sat before Ron, Hermione and Viola as he drank the bottle of Liquid Luck.
"Well? How to do you feel?" Hermione asked
"Excellent! Really excellent!" Harry exclaimed jumping up and yanking Viola to his side making Hermione look at them.
"Remember, slughorn usually eats early, takes a walk and then returns to his office" Hermione repeated
"Right! But I'm going to go to Hagrid's" Harry said making his way to the door
"No, Harry. You've got to speak to Slughorn. We have a plan!"
"I know, but I've got a really good feeling about Hagrid"
Viola and Ron looked at each other grinning
"You've got a good feeling about Hagrid? That's a bit inappropriate don't you think? A teacher?" Viola hummed as Ron snickered
"I feel like Hagrids hut is the place to be tonight. You you know what I mean?"
"No"
"Well trust me, I know what I'm doing or...Felix does" he said cheerily before walking off
"Anyways... I'm going to have a nap now" Viola announced "I've had enough of your guys shit recently"
Harry ran back up from Hagrid's hut, vial with Slughorns memory in his hand. He sprinted into the common room, trying to reach Viola before the liquid Luck had worn off.
"Where's Vio?" Harry practically shouted at Neville who was sat on the sofa
"In her dorm" Neville answered confused
Harry ran up the stairs and onto the landing, almost running into Viola as she walked back out after her nap.
"Vio!" He exclaimed grabbing her shoulders so he didn't smash into her
"Potter?" She asked rubbing her eyes, her hair still messy and voice groggy
"Listen" Harry started "ijustwantedtotellyouthatifancyyoualotandireallyreallylikeyouandsoiwaswonderingifyoudliketobemygilfriend?"
Viola blinked a couple of times "what-"
"Iwasjustwantedtotellyouthat-"
"Slower"
"I...just...wanted...to"
"Not that slow"
"I erm- I wanted to tell you that i like you, as in fancy you. Like, a lot" Harry spoke "so erm. I was thinking and erm, I'd really like it if you'd be my girlfriend"
Viola just stared at him in shock her mouth hanging open slightly.
Harry rocked back and forth on his feet, readjusting his glasses and messing his hair every so often.
"I- erm" Viola tried to speak still fully in shock "oh-Er- yeah- sure" she winced. It was the most awkward yet enlightening straightforward way anyone had asked her out. And quite frankly, she found it adorable.
"Brilliant!" Harry beamed throwing his arms around her and squeezing her tight "but I've really got to give this to Dumbledore. I'll find you later!" He shouted running off
"Yeah...okay" Viola replied still rooted to the floor "what just happened?"
Making her way over to Neville, Seamus and Dean she sat down slowly.
"What did you do to Potter?" Dean asked
"He's gone insane" Seamus agreed
"I- um. He asked me out" Viola spoke not coming to terms with the whirlwind that had just taken place.
"I hope you wasn't too hard on the bloke" Seamus sighed
"What? No. I said yes"
"What?"
"The fuck?!
"Since when did-?!"
"Surprise" she sung
"How didn't we not know?" Neville asked
"Because I never told you" she replied
"No shit" Seamus laughed
"Plus, how do I even say that...oh by the way me and potter snog, just thought I'd let you know. No"
"Alright, alright. We get it" Dean rolled his eyes.
